Hi, Yumi,
Beauty may be "in the eye of the beholder", but it is equally true that every culture has standards.. for physical attractiveness-standards that can have tremendous influence in many areas of our lives.... Although we know that it is : "who we are".. on the inside that "really counts", we cannot dismiss the role outward characteristics-particularly facial features-play in forming personal relationships, being accepted into social groups and opening doors to careers and other opportunities....
>>>>>>
So what is beauty?.. We have noted that immanently it can include elegance, harmony, symmetry, and balance, that it is ordered simplicity, that is has internal unity, that familiarity is a factor, that it is something that takes place within the mind in response to outward stimuli, that it is a glimpse from beyond, whispering of worlds to come....
>>>>>>>>>>
We have noted it is, especially evident in a life of "Simple Beauty", a life where Spirit dominates matter.... It includes the practical and the poetic, the analytical and the artistic, the Structurer and the structured all woven together into one harmonious whole... Beauty is the guardian at the gate, the lesser messenger aside "goodness and truth", who are themselves...
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks, for the question!;)
My regards! .. Take care!

The Old Adage says, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
If you see a flower and think it's pretty; that's beauty.
If you see an old person and think they are wise; that is beauty.
If you look in the mirror every morning and you are happy with what you see; that is beauty.
Beauty comes from within with love, affection and kind words. Being kind and nice to someone is also beauty. If you judge what's on TV or in Magazines as beauty, you need glasses. They are only trying to sell what you see, a product.
Just be yourself, be beauty from within your heart and you will know beauty.

Beauty can be anything that is appealing to the any of your senses that you enjoy. Beauty can be seen in someones eyes, they way they act, thier personality, their nature. Nature at it's best and undisturbed. What you see in TV and magazines are just that, images. True beauty cannot be seen rather than something that is felt.
You can see someone who is very attractive, but have a horrible personality, and they do not appear beautiful.
But the person who is less attractive could have the most beautiful personality and nature, hence appear more beautiful to someone else.

For every person on this planet, the answer will be different. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. However, take a deeper look at what makes something beautiful. To me, beauty, true beauty, is watching my daughter play with my grandson, or my son, smiling at me, or my friends when they are at their happiest. It doesn't matter what the outside looks like. If you are rotten on the inside, then you will be ugly. Remember, before you are anything at all, you are a human being. If you are a terrible human, you will be terrible looking as well.

There is an old saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", I know it's an oldie, but it is a goodie. The point is if you could ask 6.2 billion people this question, you'd get very few answers the same. Beauty is relative, but it's nice that we can all have different perceptions of the same concept.

Most people say, don't worry, even though your ugly, your real beauty is on the inside. Well that bull!
Beauty is to be b-e-a-utiful. So if your ugly, you do not have beauty. What they mean is you have great personality. Thats different. I know i might seem b!tchy, but its true.
What we see on TV and magazines are just an exageration of beauty, with makeup and surgeries.
Real beauty doesn't mean what you have on the inside, but what you already have on the outside.

Beauty is something that is pleasing to the eyes. Usually HEALTH is beauty. Long HEALTHY hair, clear skin, straight white teeth..etc..etc
Taking care of yourself=Hygeine=Health=Beauty
Some not so physical aspects can be a sexy person, confident person, a glowing person...this comes from within.
Someone's personality, the way she radiants such positive light can make her beautiful...
Flowers, sunset, sunrise, clean water, radiant colors, rainbows, mountains, trees ..etc are also beautiful.
Someone's presense can also be beautiful.
What makes beauty beauty is ENJOYMENT.
"Your beauty wouldn't worth a penny, if it wasn't for this love I've got." This quote is right, beauty doesn't mean anything unless you give it some sort of value.

Beauty is a wave-length too fine that resembles infinity or a har mony approximating infinity.Beauty is not so dissimilar to ugliness
but it's a harmonic to it. Beauty is based on agreement in our societies ; upon our various realities. Beauty is also a trap, when
it is not pure, but melted with sexual perversions.

Beauty is caring about someone and loving someone so much that you would put their troubles before your happiness. In other words, if they aren't happy, you aren't happy and their problems are your problems. Beauty is love. Beauty is unjudging and open minded. Beauty is never leaving anyone behind.

Beauty is the condition of the sensuous mind free of fear, paranoia and the egoism that stem from them. Beauty is freedom from fearful superstition and the knowledge of the biology of fear and methods for its undoing.
