I've done the usual: press releases, sent review copies, etc. I've even done the unusual by creating a "movie trailer" for the book which can be seen here: http://www.perfectlysaid.com/eyesofthepoet.html

What else can I do to promote a new book? Any advice will be appreciated.

I am in the process of making my own homemaking website.

I began writing for another website a year ago and want to use the articles I wrote for this other website. I was paid 10 dollars for each article. I never signed anything and was paid by article. Since I am the author it is ok for me to use my articles on my site right? She just paid me to sell the articles on her site. People paid money to read my work. On the webiste the copywrite info says

All content on this site is copyrighted unless otherwise stated. No reproduction of any of the material, articles, tips, etc. may be used on any other newsletter, email, ezine, or any other form of reprinting this information for others without full credit of author and a link to the website where you found this information. I would also appreciate if you would send me a quick email telling me where and how this information is being share.

So from all of that do you think it is ok or do you know a website where I can find? thankyou

I enjoy mystery, suspense, chick lit, and I guess pretty much anything. The only genres I don't read are horror and romance. I've read all of James Patterson, Michael Connelly and Harlan Coben (and loved them all!) but, I'm kinda burnt out on reading all the same best selling authors!

I accidentally resolved this question when I asked it last night, and have re-opened it to get some more suggestions! : )

I really want to get hold of the poster/print of Inge Morath's photo of the Llama sticking it's head out of a New York taxi. I have checked so many online shops both here and abroad and they all say that it is out of print.
It is such a fantastic photo and it makes me laugh everytime that I see it. If anyone knows where I might purchase it or has any suggestions then please let me know. Thank you

columbus day will be celibrsted in october , as it is every year . christopher columbus has been credited with discovering the new world and starting a global exchange of products,plants,peopleand ideas.one the other hand thoes that followed him, brought slaves to work the plantaions to make the europens rich so should columbus be credited for more or should he beconciderd a villan.

Back in the early 90's, I came across a book series about a group of teens who rode dirtbikes in a post-apocalyptic America. I'm pretty sure the books were printed between the early and late 80's. I do know that in one of the books, the teens discovered a mall and went inside to explore. Can anyone help?
