We would have adjusted to it the same way we adjusted to a cat being spelled CAT and dog being spelled DOG. It is a concept that is a forced education taught to us as we grow up and so we don't know any different. We never really "learned" it but just always knew it was the correct way to say, spell, etc.
Good Luck picking out the right condoms!

I don't think i would really be affected that much but it would take a lot of getting used to if cat was dog... but then if every word is wrong whats the point in changing them!!! New words are created everyday anyway!!!

If the sky was orange instead of blue it wouldn't be unusual, because that is the way you would've always known it. People may ask "what if the sky were blue, wouldn't that be wierd?" So, if Cat spelled Dog people would probably ask, "what if d-o-g spelled Dog?"

What if? The alphabet and vocabulary of the English language would change and the world would be thrown into DHOAS. But we Americans could do it, just like we all learned the metric system back in the 1970s.

"mental patient"
someone said this and this is not funny, but it is true-psychiatry asks us all questions like this in life, and then they call us mental patients for not being able to answer them correctly.
The truth is there is no scientific evidence for what they do if there is let them give it to me.

hahaha. I believe that the norm is the norm regardless of what the norm is. :-) ie: where on earth did some one come up with the word 'fish!'
