As a girl,I was so friendly and sweet.
Now,at 41,I feel myself growing more bitter and cold with each year that passes.

Mid-Term Break

I sat all morning in the college sick bay
Counting bells knelling classes to a close.
At two o'clock our neighbors drove me home.

In the porch I met my father crying-
He had always taken funerals in his stride-
And Big Jim Evans saying it was a hard blow.

The baby cooed and laughed and rocked the pram
When I came in, and I was embarrassed
By old men standing up to shake my hand

And tell me they were "sorry for my trouble,"
Whispers informed strangers I was the eldest,
Away at school, as my mother held my hand

In hers and coughed out angry tearless sighs.
At ten o'clock the ambulance arrived
With the corpse, stanched and bandaged by the nurse.

Next morning I went up into the room. Snowdrops
And candles soothed the bedside; I saw him
For the first time in six weeks. Paler now,

Wearing a poppy bruise on his left temple,
He lay in the four foot box as in his cot.
No gaudy scars, the bumper knocked him clear.

In temperance and faith hast thou for years
Watched o'er me. Thou hast smiled whene'er I gained
Small, human gains and bittlerly wept tears
Of light to save me when my own light waned.

And I, of thee, have thought regretfully
Scarce more than nothing, save to ponder thy
Benev'lent light on nights I could foresee
No respite from the chill of nighttide's sky.

Thus, weep thou not o'er me, as I should weep
O'er thee. For in thy sacred place above
No arms will e'er encircle thee, nor keep
Thee warm, nor hold thee in embrace of love.

While I, below, whom thou hast loved much,
Know well the sweetness of my lover's touch.

What are some metaphors (not similes) in the opening monologue speech of Shakespeare's historical play, Richard III?

The speech is spoken by Richard, btw.

Thanks in advance!

if i left you tonight, what would you say?
would you condemn me for the bastard I am?
would you wish me well and send me on my way?

if i left you tonight, what would you say?
tomorrow is tomorrow and thousands are
the songs yet to be sung?

if i left you tonight, what would say?
make peace with yourself? be at peace
with yourself and your whore?

if I left You tonight, what would You say?
You would say, "may demons **** you
In the deepest regions of your stupid ***."

I just don't know what all the hopla is about showing Mr. Irwin's last moments. they show J.F.K getting his brains blown out, and alot of other gross things on television without regards to the families feelings,so why would they start to care now. People aren't morbid they're just curious.

The book i've written does not give piercing insrtuction- a brief synopis: Ch-1, "tools of the trade"...Every piercing tool you can imagine. Ch-2, "Sterilization and preventetive measures"...Prevention of cross contamination, different types of sterilization procedures, illustrated structure of the human skin, common skin diseases and the DANGERS OF BEING PIERCED OR PIERCING OUTSIDE OF A STERILE ENVIRONMENT. Ch-3, "The healing process"...How the human body heals and recovers from simple trauma (piercing), what some of the common problems are and how to correct them. Ch-4, "Material construction"...All the differnt types of materials use for professional piercing and why those materials are used; the american standard steel coding system. Ch-5, "Attitude and common sense" which brings me to the actual question:
Does anyone see anything that even remotely eludes to piercing at home? No. Let's not jump to conclusions or be rude, K? I don't advocate "at home piercing". Try again.
