Does anyone recomend how i can find some dance classes with a pole? I know that stripper dancing really gets you in shape and tones your body. Some places do these kind of aerobics classes but i dont know how to go about asking gyms for this type of question. Does anyone know? I live in Miami.

And no wise cracks please? I am honestly looking for these aerobics classes. Dont say to join a strip club, either. I am not into taking my clothes off for money. I just want to get into shape and learn the moves.

we know of the giants throughout history who have been persecuted for their ideas....Hallaj......Socrates.....Oscar Wilde.......i am however refering to lesser mortals such as myself living in modern times .....

how does one harmonize an idealistic/ 'radical' PoV with a harsh and unforgiving reality and survive the wreckage........?

what are the hurdles which you have encountered?

and what would be considered the biggest enemy to independent thinking?

THANK YOU in advance to ALL of you

I'm 21 years old and I'm trying to read more often now that I have some spare time. I love sad books (but nothing too corny). I really enjoyed "The Pact" by Jodi Piccoult, "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" by James Patterson, and "Deep End of the Ocean" by Jacquelyn Mitchard.

Do any of you have suggestions for others? I'm going on vacation soon and need some new books

Did you forget?
Could you possibly forget?

We two, we ordinary two among the rest,
Talked one evening, then talked on,
Talked ‘til dawn began to break,
Not touching,
Hands, intentionally not touching,
And we became each other’s best,
Sitting simply where I stopped,
Before your place.
Aware we had to work that day,
Not tired,
Our thoughts in easy mesh
That left no space for anything but us.

We grew. Oh, did we grow!
We flew to each other’s side
At a day’s end, shared one lobster roll,
Talked more, smiled to see each other’s face
And then embraced, the softest two did ever embrace.
And we grew, grew up in each other’s arms,
Being children before that day and instant.
Being only time’s children before then and in that place.

Stoics we became, withstanding long separations,
An entire day of work,
And at a party, guarding opposite corners of a room,
Talking with others, casting a glance now and then,
But secure,
Knowing all led back,
Like the incoming tide to the shore,
Led back,
With a thrilling, delaying patience,
Led back to -
Without a pause or doubt -
Each other.

We great explorers discovered each in each other
And each through the other,
And never called our new land by name,
Only knew none had visited there before,
That pristine shore,
Not that shore, and not exactly as we.
We dared this, knowing our rights were secure,
Immortalized by first discovery,

I don’t mind the hurt, no, not nearly so much as waste
Of all that, of what we put by.
The glory of it gone.
You gone.
It can never be repeated.
And we must now forget our route,
All maps to our discovered land
Discarded,
The sand now swept and smoothed by wind and tide.

Some sojourners someday
May stumble on the beach we walked on,
Find a print or two, a coin,
Or some other evidence of we two;
Will they ever speculate or guess
What mysteries and miracles were once discovered there,
Before they found their own?

If you leap too fast I may see you fall down first.
I hadn't lost until you won.
That was yesterday.

I could walk faster if you ran slower.
But I wouldn't like being followed.
Creaping through the shadows like they were real.

I had a penny yesterday,
YOu had several you'd sell me for mine.
More valuable now that it is gone today.

I broke a glass and you were there.
My mind was on the moon.
And all you saw was the empty space behind my eyes.

I reached for the sky and my fingers felt the air,
YOu could taste it if you had a head.
I could feel it if my fingers hadn't.

My feet burned when I cried,
You never stood still long enough.
It happened before I opened my eyes.

Harmless.
I did no wrong.
All I did was love.
Why me?
Go ahead.
Wish me dead.
Why would I care anymore?
Bastards.
Evil.
Arrogant.
So I'm worthless?
Maybe to you.
I have one thing you've never had or felt.
Love.
You don't care?
Don't.
Wish me dead.
The world is like you anyways;
So go ahead.
I want to go.
I've tried.
You could say that I've given up.
I've tried.
There is no love.
No compassion.
Forgive me my God.
All I did was love.
Go ahead.
Kill me.
Help me.
Do something.
contemptuous.
I can't take it.
Take my life.
Wish me goodbye.
But please rememver all I did.
All I've said.
Never forget.
Wish me dead.
Hate me.
Kill me.
Just go ahead.
Pull the trigger.
I'm waiting.
I have nothing left.
You say you hate me.
It won't take long,
I know you want to.
I'm ready to leave your hell.
God forgive me.
I can't handle.
I won't handle.
Be my pleasure.
Go ahead.
Kill this love.
Love.
Hate.
Death.
Goodbye, my dear true love.
