I am in Utah and we are fourth generation wood carvers, I would like to set up a non-profit studio to help preserve this form of art.

I impersonate Elvis and I do alot of 70's songs when his voice was very mature, deep and had a heck of a range. I take vocal lessons but does anybody know of additional excercises that are good for strengthing and increasing breath intake ?

I've read the majority of the popular fantasy novels for people my age, plus, I'm trying to help a fantasy loving 5th grader find some books, and I'm running out of titles. Just so you know, I've read most books by Garth Nix, Scott Westerfeld, Jenny Nimmo, Elizabeth Kay, Mary Hoffman, C.S. Lewis and J.K. Rowling of course, all of the Redwall books, and the Wind on Fire Trilogy...The City of Ember and all those books, well, I'll just see what you come up with okay?

Most publishers I contact want you to already be a published author before they are interested, thus the proverbial "catch 22" of what comes first. I am loath to try vanity publishers as once something sounds too good to be true, it usually (in my case, invariably is too good to be true by experience).
