What was the name of the orator who spoke just before President Lincoln? How long was his speech? How long was President Lincoln's speech? What was the opening line of President Lincoln's speech? . If you can't remember the answers, look them up. "Cut and paste answers" won't be considered for points. That is SO lazy.

Is everything Art? Is there no such thing as Art? Is Art everywhere? Why is Art here? Why do we have Art?

Jesus Christ - crucified (granted, by Christian theology, he resurrected)
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi - shot dead
Martin Luther King, Jr. - shot in the throat
John Lennon - fatally wounded

just to name a few...
is there anyone who has "fought" for peace, & died of natual causes?

I'm not asking about the best books you've read,or the best characteres, but about the ones you wished to be(or thought you were??...)and the stories you lived whilst reading and wished(thought??...) you were actually there. Not only happy stories.I,for one, used to identify with children who suffered or had difficult lives.

A few characteres (including real people-I love real stories!) and books that are big part of the best part of my life,in no particular order:

Mary~"The Secret Garden"~Frances Hodgson Burnett
Jo~"Little Women"~L.M.Alcott
Laura Ingalls Wilder~All Books
Ane Frank
David Copperfield and Oliver Twist~Charles Dickens
Cedric~"Little Lord Fauntleroy"~Frances Hodgson Burnett
Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn~Mark Twain
Mary Poppins~P.L.Travers
Heidi~~Johanna Spyri
Sans Famille~Hector Henry Malot
Le Comte De Monte-Christo-Alexandre Dumas

I'm sure I'll think of more,as soon as I submit the question...;)

Thank you for sharing your life with me!:)

then there are ones, like me, who are caught in between it all.
fighting is common nature, but when at the human level, the anger seems something more.
wanting peace is an almost unnatual occrance, yet so many people struggle thier whole lives to try & make a difference.
what about when you are in the midst of conflict & you only want peace, yet at other times, you feel so much rage that you want to start the conflict yourself.

how can all this coexist in this ever changing wold?
