Do you think it's possible to read it without forming any political opinion, but just to use it as an example of how to write a bad book? I read it in high school, and yeah, I was offended, but then I just wrote it off(no pun intended) as a good guidebook for budding young authors like myself on how NOT to write^_^. Let's face it, the man was a hack writer. He couldn't even put a decent paragraph together.

For example, I just finished reading "At Home With the Marquis de Sade." Does anyone know of any other interesting, well-written biographies?

I have an oil painting that was damaged this week. It has been in the family about 60 years. It is not an antique or Masterpiece but a very detailed landscape painting. It was painted on paper (not cloth). Three pieces of paper were "SCRATCHED " away from the painting. Torn off if you will. Where do i find someone who could repair this? A college art school? What fees would i expect to pay? Hourly? I live outside of Detroit, Michigan. Thank you.

The problems you face are even graver than you percieve them to be & they can only be resolved on a planetary level. Your outdated & primitive ways of approaching the problems of your current world situations will not bring the changes necessary for terrestrial survival.
So my real question is this: How does one with a GALACTIC PERSPECTIVE get you folks to chill out for 2 hours, take a 2 hour timeout in front of Satellite TV & listen to someone that can show you the SOLUTION to HUNGER, POVERTY, HEALTHCARE, HOMELESSNESS. To remove FEAR & HOSTILITY from this world so you can become members of THE GALACTIC COMMUNITY at end of this dispensational period, rather than waiting another millenium. You guys are knockin' on HEAVENS DOOR! Do you know the PASSWORD to get in?
Here is the deal: I won't answer any questions except, in a TELEVISED (Worldwide) FORUM with twenty experts of ECONOMIC, LOGISTIC, PHYSICAL & SOCIAL SCIENCES in a think tank. Thanx 4 reading this- SPREAD the WORD! ! !

"Bad men cannot make good citizens. It is when a people forget God that tyrants forge their chains. A vitiated state of morals, a corrupted public conscience, is incompatible with freedom. No free government, or the blessings of liberty, can be preserved to any people but by a firm adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, frugality, and virtue; and by a frequent recurrence to fundamental principles."

With the climatic changes, weather you believe in Global Warming or not, the Polar bears have been suffering because of the ice melt. Some bears are not surviveing the once 5 mile swim that is now 80 miles, (nor are some young seal pups who cannot keep up with their parents durring this migrant swim) The Polar Bears are starving and have resorted to canabilism to eat. Some drown, some starve ... it's not good.

I cannot help but think of future generations who will only know the Polar Bears as mythical extinct creatures that once were. Perhaps our grandchildren will be telling stories of the cool white bears that once were ... but probably still on a Coka Cola bottle.

Then I have to start thinking about, "What goes around, comes around." If the climate can potentially kill bears ... what about effects on humanity? I can accept "natural" changes if that all this is but, to me ... it's pretty sad.
