To find its opposite you must first define poetry. Poetry is literature that evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through language chosen and arranged for its meaning, sound, and rhythm.

The opposite would therefore be Math. It doesn't require an imaginative awareness of an experience to do basic math, just spitting out what was learned. There is no emotion, rhythm, sound, or language within math, it is what it is.
