My family is officially Lutheran Christian but we never go to church (except for Christmas Eve) and we aren't very religious at all. I got interested in Buddhism about two months ago and I've read four books about it and mulitple websites, and when I told my Dad I wanted to be Buddhist he freaked out! He's more of an athiest than anything, yet he was really angry just because I wanted to be Buddhist. When I told my mom, the religious one, she said it was OK. What the heck?

I'm getting a Remington 700 CDL (http://www.remington.com/products/firearms/centerfire_rifles/model_700/model_700_CDL_specs.asp)
I live in Mississippi, and want to use it for the usual (whitetail deer, etc.) but i also want a cartridge that i could use elsewhere. Example if i ever want to go out west and shoot big horn sheep, or elk, or maybe even bear i want to know what cartridge would work for all this. I was thinking 30-06 because i know that is a good one and works well. i am new to all these 7mm and everything, so im asking what cartridge you think. See the link i put up there to show what cartridges they offer for the rifle. thanks

ok i got my ps3 4 days ago for christmas i have it in a cool room it hasnt got hot or over heated once i have pro street and the simpsons game i was playing the simpsons game and it froze so i left it for 5 mins and it was still frozen so i turned the ps3 off for awhile 2 rest and wen i turned it bak onthe ps3 menue didnt show up it was just the normal tv screen ive checked everything is alright but the ps3 wont show up on the tv screen so im pretty sure its broken but if any1 has any ideas or knows why it happend or how 2 fix it plz tell me ive been answering alot of questions 2 do with the ps3 and so far drake has the best answers and answers all of them mostly so can some1 tell drake about this question cos he might know about it.

No rhetoric please. I really want to understand:
IF you are against abortion being legal... then why do you (most of you, a few are excluded here) NOT support enlarging the Welfare funding to make sure all these homeless and uneducated young people (who are often unwanted and end up as criminals) have a home and money to live on.
You wanted them born, so why can they not just do as they please and not work, or drift, of commit crimes. You wanted them to be born into a dysfunctional family system, frequently without one or both parents around, often in foster homes and orphanages, and ultimately in jails and prisons.
You have no problem paying extra money for more cops to protect you from them, and more prisons to hold them, and you're ready and willing to send ministers into the prison to save their souls.
So - WHY do you demand that they be here? WHY do you have so much concern for forcing them to be born, and then so little concern for them after they get here?

Why are you on here fighting against something that you do not believe is real? Would you try to fight the tooth fairy? Why do you give your entire life fighting against a God you do not believe in? Someone I know is getting their first handgun, mainly for concealed carry. I know quite a bit about guns, however, my friend is fairly new to the industry. He wants a good, reliable, semi-automatic handgun for concealed carry that is under $400.00 dollars. Therefore, I recommended the Ruger P95 9mm pistol. He loves the Colt Government .45, Glock 22/23, and a couple of the Sigs. He has never been around Rugers and they are around his price range. Would you recommend the Ruger P95, chambered for 9x19mm Luger ammunition?

We have a collie/australian sheperd mix who is about 9 years old. She's a great dog, but she has bad arthritus, and she limps around all the time.
The past few days she wont eat her pills, or much of anything. When you rub her stomach she heaves. We took her to the vet, no heart worms, or any worms, and he gave her a shot. But none of us know what's wrong with her stomach, plus it's bloted. Any help? Anything I can give her that my be of use?
