I had a 1997 grand prix the transmission died about 8 months ago. I had a used transmission installed for around $1,200 which only lasted 8 months. Is the auto mechanic responsible for fixing the transmission since his work lasted less then a year. This took place in the state of NH.

I know plenty of people that put up the tree, buy gifts, decorate the house, and everything else without ever thinking about christianity or why they're celebrating Christmas. People, whether religious or not, celebrate Christmas anyway. I know a lot of atheists and agnostics that celebrate Christmas. Can Christmas be considered more of a cultural holiday than religious one in America?

A man in Phoenix calls his son in New York a week before Christmas and says, "I hate to ruin your holiday season, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough.

"Dad, what are you talking about?" the son asks.

We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the father says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her."

Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like heck they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this." She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at her father, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing." and hangs up.

The old man hangs up his phone and turns to his wife. "Okay" he says, "they're coming for Christmas and paying their own way."

I've got a 6 disc set of CDs that I want to on my Ipod. The CDs play great on all types of CD players (like my car or sony CD/tape player). My computer has been a reliable CD burner/ripper in the past. It was able to rip CD 1 of 6, but 5-6 it can't read. I ripped from another CD, went back to the set...and still nothing.

All I can hear is the CD spinning, and stopping, spinning and stopping, obviously having a hard time trying to recognize the CD.


Is there any other way to get that info off the CDs? ( I just tried to play the CD in another computer that doesn't have a burner, and that CD drive also was unable to recognize the CD)

like i said He just doesnt cry it out if you leave him be he gets louder we have only tried the cry it out method once maybe we should try it again. I dont know. We want him to sleep in his crib we want to get him off of sleeping with us. any advice?
