I mean I like what I do. I dropped out 4 years ago and plan to get my GED sometime next year. I tried the best I could in school and will work my *** off studying for and taking the GED test. I love janitorial work as it has helped improve my self esteem. High school made me feel like scum and cleaning up places makes me feel I have a purpose in life.

My husband & I recently married after 1.5 yr dating & 1.5 yr living together. He's divorced but have a 4 yr old son w/ his ex-wife. His ex-wife is being vindictive, using her son to cause trouble because:
+ she's blaming me for not being able to reconciliate w/ her husband after they were separated. They were separated & he date other women before I entered the picture, but since he was dating me when she filed the divorce - I'm to blame :)
+ for taking her place
+ for being nice to her kid, whom is now my stepson too.
+ encourage my husband to be more involve in his kid's life, and make sure he knows his rights - husband can't read English well so he's intimidated by the law + court stuffs.
+ get along with his parents, etc ...

I read numerous Q&A on ex-wife issues & do understand that it's a normal psychologically for her to be jeolous, mean, ... When I was the gf, I just ignore her and let my bf deal with it but now that we're married, what should I do?

I have not been able to log onto my AKO in two months, and I have not been paid in one month. No one seems to be able to help me, but a friend told me to try my branch manager. Since I can't log onto my AKO I can't access any sites that require AKO passwords; any and all help would be appreciated.

For someone to believe in YEC, you have to think of the MASSIVE amount of misinformation that is being put out. Geological records being lied about, Biological differences (and more importantly similarities) being obfuscated, Geneticists not only lying, but completely inventing an entire discipline. We would have to have lied about how Atom's decay over long periods of time to establish the date of fossils. If that were true, our basic understanding of the Atom is completely wrong, and the Atomic bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki (requiring MASSIVE amount of knowledge about atomic structure) likely would have had to been faked.

Thousands of scientific organizations, with almost no remaining dissent, would have to get every member (literally millions of people) in dozens of different cultures and languages to lie on paper and in person over and over.

Just how much more is required for someone to label a person who believes in obfuscation on that massive a scale, a Conspiracy Theorist?

We live in New York but visited Colorado couple of times, we fell in love of it's beauty. Here we have the same jobs for 5 + years so we are scared to leave it. We are in our early 30's, would like to have kids very soon. My husband takes home 1100/week as an audi technician which is Ok, but not enough for a house or a decent place here. (I make much less, but if We will have kids I will have to stay home ). We are scared to move since We dont know how is the job situations are there. Husband is very good at his job so he would be doing the same, work on luxury cars, but are there a lot of luxury cars in denver/Fort collins?? Any help would be great!! We are saving for a down payment and currently renting.

I find it interesting that most people claim to be freethinking individuals, when in reality, 80% of those have been heavily brainwashed on a subconscious level. Essentially, most people are allowing their culture to think for them.

So I’m curious, what percent of your mind do you feel has been warped and lied to?

I recently read that New Hampshire has a state law that its primary must happen at least a week before any other state's primary (I'm not American). Now no other state can pass such a law, obviously because it'd be impossible (NH was there first). But what's stopping other states from passing similar laws in different realms, eg. New York passes a law saying JFK airport flights should get preference over Newark, or whatever. Is there anything the Fed or other states can do to prevent a state from unilaterally passing laws that affect other states? Is there a procedure to have such a law revoked? Thank you.

A man returns from the doctor and tells his wife that the doctor has told him he has only 24 hours to live. Given this prognosis, the man asks his wife for sex. Naturally, she agrees, and they make love. About six hours later, the husband goes to his wife and says, "Honey, you know I now have only 18 hours to live. Could we please do it one more time?" Of course, the wife agrees, and they do it again.Later, as the man gets into bed, he looks at his watch and realizes that he now has only 8 hours left. He touches his wife shoulder, and asks, "Honey, please...just one more time before die." She says, "Of course, Dear," and they make love for the third time. After this session, the wife rolls over and falls asleep. The man, however, worried about his impending death, tosses and turns, until he's down to 4 more hours. He taps his wife, who rouses. "Honey, I have only 4 more hours. Do you think we could..." At this point the wife sits up and says,"Listen, I have to get up in the morning. You don't!"

Besides 100 dollars, that is.

I'm a mostly casual gamer - I don't care about having the best of the best, but if it's definitely worth the extra money, I don't mind getting it.

Though I'd rather buy a monitor that's a few inches bigger with that money. :)

As tax payers we pay for peoples health care that don't care if they pay their bills. Not all addicts are dead beats but when they get "sick" they can run up a large medical bill that, most of the time, doesn't get paid by them. If they use drugs, it takes more drugs an usual to take care of them in the hospital and they require more care than the average person.

Or vice versa. Starting in January, I want to pay my parents back on a loan they gave me. I want to do it the safest way possible. A check mailed could get lost. Bank transfer fees are too much. If I just set aside the money as I go, without sending it to them, I'm likely to spend it elsewhere. Ideally I'd like to find a bank that has an affiliate near my parents so I can just set up a joint account and have them take the money out as I put it in. How would I find such a bank, if one exists?
