I am out of work, we had a family emergency (son became gravely ill and hospitalized for 3 months), and during that time we had to resign our lease. We signed just out of sheer pressure, since we had no way to move out. We had no idea if our son was going to live or not, and if he did he would need extended home care after he left the hospital. We were trying to keep our place, while staying out-of-town to be near our son. The rent was raised, and I lost my job, my husband is only getting part-time work. I can't work, I am caring for my son. We didn't pay this months rent, and we have been asked to vacate the premises or face eviction. Since they asked us to leave, will we be considered breaking our lease? will we be held responsible for the remaining 9 months of rent ?

hi, i thought University of Virginia's Mcintire school of commerce was available to undergraduates? like in bussiness week.com it ranked Mcinitre as the 2nd best undergrad school. But when i went on the Mcinitire website it said that i required to have graduated or be graduating in a liberal arts program within the next 12 month. In otherwords, i can't apply right after high school? please let me know if you guys know anything because this changes my whole application. thank you

I came across a question just before about chest hair, and it got me thinking.
I'm 18 and I have hair downstairs, and under my arms, but facial hair only needs shaving every few days, and as for other body hair, my chest is hairless and I don't even have that trail down from my belly button- I've never shaved it or anything but my midsection is just completely smooth.
So guys, when and where did u get hair? :D
and girls do u prefer a smooth hairless bloke like myself, or a hairier chested one?
How do u all feel about body hair over all?
Is there a more complex reason than hormones for hair?

I recently found out a scam my neighbor has been pulling. He baits and captures pets from all over town & keeps them in his house until he sees an ad in the paper / signs on telephone poles for a reward. He then collects the reward by returning the pet.

I discovered this as I stopped over unannounced and he had 2 dogs & a cat he attempted to hide. I asked what the hell is going on & he told me he’s capturing about 25 pets a year & collecting rewards upward of $500.

Making matters more dramatic, he said he now returns cats wearing a sling & tells the unsuspecting cat owner he fell from a tree while ‘rescuing’ it. The people buy it 100%. He even gets extra money for supposed medical bills. Even worse, the townspeople think he is a HERO and even nicknamed him ‘pet dective’ & invite him to family picnics, etc.

I thought something was odd as he found pets all these years.

If I tell the police, he’ll know it is me. Clearly, a person doing this is nuts and I fear repercussion.

I'm writing an essay for history and my assignment sheet says "You are a french citizen and you want the americans to help you fight against britian. Write an essay trying to convince america to side with you."
I'm basically saying in my essay how we (the french) helped the americans during the american revolution against the british and that they "owe" us.

How did the french help the americans during the american revolution?

So my computer was on standby and all of the sudden when we looked at it there was the desktop, with no icons. I turned the computer on and off and the desktop loaded, then the icons disppeared. I have a Compaq Notebook C304NR. I'm completely comptuter challenged. Any idea what's going on? The way I'm on the internet is some privacy protector ad came up on the desktop and I clicked on it, then typed in yahoo. There still is no desktop.
