I was sick for the better half of the movie in school, so yeah. This is absolutely last minute & any help would be appreciated.

When the refs try to cheat the Titans out of a win by calling penalties in hopes of losing and getting Coach Boone fired.
Since you didn't see it (You should, it's good) you should know that the committee of the Hall of Fame for their (town?) told the refs to do this because they didn't want him.
Also a brick was thrown through Coach Boone's window by someone driving by.
And when the FB wouldn't block for the RB because he was black, but then the captain cut him because of this, even though they were friends.
Lastly (I keep remembering them) Gary's mom wouldn't talk to his new friend because he was black (cant remember his name) but in the end she gives him a hug.

Really the racism all started on the movie because a white store owner shot a young black man at the start of the movie... They start had heating protest

1. Players sitting seggregated [i cant spell] on the busses - by choice
2. Coach Boone told if he lost a game he would lose his job
3. Girlfriend of a player telling him not to talk to the black players
4. Mom not wanting to meet black friend
5. Refferees trying to make the Titans lose a game so Coach Boone would get fired

A white only restaruant.
The girlfriend of the quarterback didn`t want
him to talk or be with the black players.
The mother of the quarterback didn`t want to meet his black friend.
At the beginning of the movie the town didn`t want black players.
To get rid of the black coach, he was told if he lost a game he would be out of a job.

all the white boys sat segregated on the busses by choice. They all sat at all white and all black tables. There was even one black white fight in the halls of the school.
