That freaking Gap ad with Will and Amy whats-their-names is driving me absolutely bonkers. I'm logging off of YA because I can't take it anymore. Am I alone or do the rest of you find it amusing?

Couldn't they at least make it so that it plays every, oh, 20 minutes or so instead of every time I click on something? ARGGGH!!

I'm currently at the end of my first semester in college. What would be the pros and cons of putting my education on hold in order to enlist in the Navy. Also, how easy/difficult would it be to eventually become an officer.

In November of 2006, I was in a car accident that left me with a back injury (bulged disc). I eventually had surgery in February 2007.

I started a job about in August 2007, doing webmastering and system administration (desk job). Prior to employment, I told my employer straight out that I had back surgery, and was still occasionally on medication. In the interim, I was pain free, and things were going really nicely. Then, a few weeks ago, I hit a major snag.

The pain started on November 25. I went to the doctor, and he said that the same disc that I had surgery on was the one causing problems. I have so much chronic back/leg pain that I can't even think; plus, when I take meds, I can barely even stand; thus, I can't perform my job properly.

Here's the problem. I just got company health insurance, and this is what is paying my doctor appointments so far. I'm afraid that I will be fired due to this injury, and that I will lose the insurance. Can my boss fire me because of this?

Lately I haven't been feeling normal. I'll be sitting there and then all of a sudden I get really scared and think something is happening when everything is perfectly fine. And lately I've been getting these pains on the left side of my chest (I'm only 20, I doubt it's heart problems) they usually last 5-10 mins then I'm perfectly fine. It only seems to happen when I'm thinking about it, when I get my mind off it, the pains go away. I'm scared and don't know what's wrong. Does this sound like anxiety? Is there anything I can do naturally to take care of it.

OK, so about five years ago my husband and I spent a whole day at the beach. I'd say it was about seven hours. I was eight months pregnant, yes I know, very bad! I was under umbrellas the whole time, yet I still got a really bad sunburn on my back. I had this cut out on the back of my bathing suit. When I went home, I had this big red circle on my back. Painful, let me tell you! It has been five years now and it still hurts so much. My shirt and undergarments do not bother me unless they rub my back. Even if my husband runs his hands or fingers lightly down my back, it still hurts. It feels like I still have a sunburn. I feel like little needles all over my back. Could my back be permanently damaged? The pain only occurs when my back is rubbed.

The father of my baby wants him to come over for a few days alone so he can watch him on his own. My mom said i better not do that or i might as well pack my stuff and leave her house. I usually go over there every weekend but didnt feel like it, he is his son but i dont want my mom mad at me. i admit he isnt all the knowledgeable, he can change the diaper and feed him and such but he cant calm him down. His mom is there and she is really good with my baby, and im so confused on what to do. Jamie wanted to get the baby tonight at 10pm but it was to late and he had a co its my son i can see him when i want. and we dont have papers or nething on when he can see him, and he is the blood father and i dont know what to do i cant stop him can i from seeing him he hasnt done nething to him or nething. i just know my mother will get mad if she comes home and he isnt here. okay so i am going to buy a horse within the next month... it is now between two ponies... but the thing is is that i am tall. i am 5'5 but only weigh 100 pounds.. so i guess i look smaller. one of the ponies is 14 hands and the other is close to 14.2 hands.
i need to know whether or not buying the 14 hand pony will make me look bad and interfere with shows.

I have had the same dream over and over now for the past couple of months. The dream basically is that the world ends. Every time I have the dream it happens the same way, the world ends by a huge cloud of poison gas that plumes over the earth. Basically the dream ends by my saying calmly " Its about to end, lets lay down and hold hands" and then I calmly do and wait for the end. The only differing thing is that every time I lie down with different people. One time it was with half my family and another it was with one sister and the other night it was with a classmate. Usually I am able to accept my fate and lay down and die peacefully but last night I cried as I felt scared and was only with a classmate so i felt alone (therefore I did not die easily).

Why am I having this terrible dream??? Why do I have it over and over????

This is crazy and deeply disturbing
