That freaking Gap ad with Will and Amy whats-their-names is driving me absolutely bonkers. I'm logging off of YA because I can't take it anymore. Am I alone or do the rest of you find it amusing?

Couldn't they at least make it so that it plays every, oh, 20 minutes or so instead of every time I click on something? ARGGGH!!

Oh I'm glad you posted this! I was gonna do it if someone else didn't. That flash ad is SO distracting because it starts talking at you from out of nowhere and you have to stop what you are doing to click the pause or stop button on the damn thing to shut it up. This kind of advertising is intrusive and I think is going too far. You are correct...It ruins the experience of Yahoo! Answers if one is constantly having to manage it to shut it up.

Type in Gap Ad in the Search bar on Yahoo and you will see how many others feel the same way

The Gap, Old Navy and Bananna Republic are all owned by the same company. Thing that pisses me off about them is that they don't say Christmas during Christmas. They say Holiday Gifts, Holiday this that and the other but the word "Christmas" is never ever used. Go check out their site and see. Who they hell they trying not to offend? They offend many more by not saying Christmas!!!

I had to mute my computer. What made me mad was the fake "pause" button that takes you to the ad. I expect that crap from stupid, cheap ads... but not from a big name brand that could do without this useless form of advertising.
