yep:
1). Car accident because some idiot thought she had the right of way coming out of an alley while i was on the road. We had to file an accident report
2). had to report vandalism/hit and run because my car a huge scratch on the side and the mirror was knocked off. I know it was the people 2 houses down from me, they've been staring at me and always drive super close to my car when they drive by. They hate me too, they've sent their dog out to harass me so i have probabl cause to accuse them.
3). Accidental. My mom told me to call my grandmother when i was about 4. I dialed 911 and asked, "is that you?" i felt stupid and still do.
the first instance, they did help me, 2nd, they didn't, 3rd, well, im not sure.

Yes once. Our home got broken into last year. We called the police but they took a while to come over. They said that the perps gained entry but something must have scared them off as they had dismantled our door knob and broken the screen door. The scary thing is our bedroom is right near the front door but with the door shut and the air-con on we didn't hear anything. I thought I remembered hearing a noise and a light getting shined on me but then thought I was dreaming. My hubby gets up around 2 am for the loo with his diabetes and we think they saw him walk out of our room and down the hall and he scared them. Good thing they didn't bop him on the head or anything as he was naked. Hahaha. No wonder they got scared. :) But they were of no help to us.

Many times. The first time I called was when my mom had her leg run over by her van when it wasn't completely in park. She was taken to the hospital and had multiple surgeries. 15-20 years and it still isn't quite right.
I had to call when my friend fell off his bike and stopped breathing. My friend was ok before they got there.
I called when I drove past a van that was on fire.
I called when I witnessed a shooting in Wheaton, IL by Michael Alfonso, who ended up on the FBI's 10 most wanted and America's Most Wanted. I also assisted in the search for him in my job as a dispatcher for the Illinois Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

I called when I was on my way to my car in my work parking lot (I now work at the corporate office of a major oil company) when, at a time of heightened fear of terror attacks by use of crop dusters, a cropduster flew overhead very slowly, did a loop, a barrel roll, and began spraying over our retention pond. It turned they were spraying for mosquitos.
Et cetera, et cetera.

I referred to as for the time of relatives television night. My brother saved turning the television on while i wanted it off.... LMAO of course my butt replaced into grass and my mom replaced into the backyard mower once I referred to as and we had a cop outdoors of our living house over night!!!

Yes, I had to call the police on my father. He started coming after me and charging at me. I was afraid he was going to hurt me. No they didn't do anything. They came to the house, filed a report, and left. They didn't bother to help me press charges.

Yes, I was with my Grandpa and he gets horrible nose bleeds.
He had one and I had to call 911.
Of course they helped me, they told me what to do while waiting for them, and then came and got him.
It was scary, he was loosing a lot of blood fast!
