There's a few quotes that I'm supposed to "explain the significance of" for an English assignment, but I do not understand:

1) "It will have blood..."

I'm debating whether to get a 14 or 15 inch wxga hd widescreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. My questions is will the quality of videos and/or pics look better on the 14 vs the 15 or does it not really make that big of a difference (all other specs being the same)? Thanks

Does anyone know any downsides to using small chips of dry ice put in a carboy instead of topping off? The chips are small and float on top, so additional carbon dioxide saturation is unlikely. Also, I put on the fermentation lock after the dry ice is placed, so it helps insure that all oxygen is purged.

Any ideas on why this is not good?

My wife's grandfather has a love for sci-fi and adventure novels. In the past I bought him some early Clive Cussler books, and then moved onto Scalzi's Old Man's War trilogy.

He tends to like adventure, sci-fi, and war related themes. I believe I also gave him Ender's Game. This year though I'm at a loss. I would appreciate any suggestions.

What books would you all recommend?

My mum has been supportive towards me, but she's very immature, everytime she comes back from working (she works evenings/nights) she smashes and bangs things around, whilst i'm upstairs and shouts and verbally bashes me calling me selfish and blah blah blah, she only does this when she comes back from work, I'm sick of it...she's 37 and i'm 17...I really want to move out and I don't want to get that old and be so hateful, I hate thinking about her life and I don't want to end up like her, I just wanna enjoy my life, have fun and succeed then die happy and young. I'm sick of her!!!! Opinions??

My Betta babies are in danger. Two of my Betta babies died because they had a disease called "Ick" I don't know why because it froms over night. Before I went to bed last night I fed them and they all seemed fine but then when I got home from school today, I see one of them floating dead at the top of the tank with white fuzz covered around them and it's fins are all torn. I don't know if they were fighting or not. I don't think so because I don't see any signs of fighting or any actual fighting. I have this brown mold growing in my tank and I keep cleaning it but it still gorws back. Are the babies dieing off because of that? I don't know. Please help me. EXPERIENCED BETTA EXPERTS ONLY!

I believe that Pete Rose never bet against his team. I believe that steroid use enhances a players performance, where Pete Rose only expresses the hope for a possible outcome. I believe that steroid users have damaged the game many times more than Pete Rose ever did. Pete Rose played like he was on steroids when he wasn't. I wonder what these steroid users would have played like without them. I believe that not one of the steroid users should get in to the Baseball Hall of Fame before Pete Rose does. Pete Rose is getting the shaft! What do you think?

hes been playing games with taking 52 days off from work in 05,in 06 the maritial relationship was burreling down the tubes-in 07 august-he claims voices and rats then recants-now after reading an article in the paper today his mom tells him honey i think this is what you had as a child only i didnt know.The divorce papers are to be deleivered tomorrow-and there isnt even one ounce left inside of me due to the nature of his lies,stealing,cheating and just plain meaness how wrong i was you think you would know someone but the last years have been torment and the last foour months terror-he's thrives in keeping me in fear-he has been caught following me to the store,stealing money from my purse and our seven year old piggy bank-and now he wants to claim its because of aspergers-not to mention that this dx was recent for our seven year old and hes having challenges-the to be ex wants to use this as a crutch what to be forgiven-does anyone understand this?can anyone help?

My husband recently told me that he thinks my little brother might be using cocaine. He said the past few days he's seen him, he's been acting pretty weird and that he sweats a lot and it's not even hot. Is that a sign that someone is using cocaine? sweating? Then I was at my mom's house yesterday and she said it was weird that my little brother, well actually he's 17 but he's still my lil brother, that he went straight to sleep, he's usually hungry like a wolf when he gets home. I know that stuff keeps you up all night. I hope this isn't true, my parents are already stressing with my other brother, they don't need more woes, so i'm kinda of hesitant to mention it to my mom. What are the signs?

I am now 37 weeks pregnant...and went to the dr tues! he said that he would like to enduce labor on the 21st of this month (next friday) b/c of the size of the baby! Labor began naturally with my first child...although it had to be stopped b/c of complications, and started again with pitocin....and i was able to have her without and pain meds or anything....(14 hrs of labor)! and i was just wondering if the pain of being induced in the beginning will be more intense...or if labor may be longer.....
basically im just looking for someone to tell me what to expect with an induction.....i have no idea, and im worrying myself sick about it! lol

A couple of days ago my computer got infected by a virus. I did a bunch of cleaning things, etc, but now, a few problems remain that I can't get rid of!
1) Sometimes, as I open and close the internet browser, everything (all icons and the blue taskbar at the bottom) disappears and then reappear a few seconds later. This is getting extrmely annoying.

2) My system restore cannot go back to previous months anymore.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
