I'm taking my first course of genetics in college.
In our lab, we conducted an ELISA experiment. After running on gel electropheresis, we observed one band from the gold standard. we had 3bands for non-tumor tissue from a cancer patient. we had 2bands for tumor tissue from the same patient and therefore we concluded that the patient was inherited the germ-line mutation and she or he developped a mutation during life time.
My understanding was that mutation can create a cutting site.
However I had another ELISA experiment that does not support this idea.
In this eperiment, we had 2bands for gold standard, 3bands for non-tumor tissues from a cancer patient. we also observed 1band from tumor tissue from the same patient. Can mutation delete a cutting site? I do not really understand how mutation can create and delete cutting sites. Depends on what kind mutation it is, results seem to differ. Can someone explain this to me please?

I like it better the Rudy's, but he still believes in that tuition break for illegal students. Has Huckabee changed his ways and decided to listen to the American people? What do you think? Is it realistic?

Can you name the singer in that TV show and episode or film?

The population of the world was about 5.3 billion in 1990. Birth rates in the 1990s ranged from 35 to 40 million per year and death rates ranged from 15 to 20 million per year. Lets assume that the carrying capacity for world population is 100 billion.

a) Write the logistic differential eq. for these data. (because the initial pop is small compared to the carrying capacity, you can take k to be an estimate of the initial relative growth rate).
b) use the logistic model to estimate the world population in the year 2000 and compare with the actual population of 6.1 billion.
c) Use the logistic model to predict the world population in the years 2100 and 2500.
d) What are your predictions if the carrying capacity is 50 billion?

show work/steps plz..thanks!

"The Vatican said earlier this week that Pope Benedict XVI would {grant indulgences for a limited time} to pilgrims who visit Lourdes for the 150th anniversary."
"In the Catholic Church, indulgences are remittances of suffering for sins. {"The Vatican said earlier this week that Pope Benedict XVI would {grant indulgences for a limited time} to pilgrims who visit Lourdes for the 150th anniversary."
"In the Catholic Church, indulgences are remittances of suffering for sins. {In order to go to heaven, it is believed one must 'repair' the harm committed on earth before death.}"

HOW CAN A MAN PUT A "TIME LIMIT" ON SALVATION?

I KNOW THAT MANY OF YOU KNOW THAT WE ARE SAVED BY JESUS ONLY.YET HERE RESTRICTIONS ARE APPLIED. "In order to go to heaven, it is believed one must 'repair' the harm committed on earth before death." THIS IS BEING SAVED BY WORKS.We all should make restitution when lead by the spirit to do so.But we do that because we ARE SAVED, not so we can be saved.Right?

When the universe was much smaller at the dawn of the time , 13+ billions years ago, would the more concentrated matter/ mass not distort space time through gravity on a completely different scale than today? How much would this affect the light we see now? More red shifted etc than it really should be if the universe had always been the same size?
I am thinking about this as gravitational lensing of early galaxies suggests that light takes longer to get here than if it came here directly without lensing. Would the considerably smaller universe not exaggerate this effect dramatically? Then tailing off the closer to the present time it gets.
This confusion also concerns me in relation to question of how fast the universe is expanding as the further you look back in time the more space time would look curved from our point of view.

If you read all then I am already in your debt. this confusion has concerned me for ages. Please put me out of my ignorance thanks a billion remainz

I have been approved for a home loan, It'll be a little tight to buy a home, but I love that more than anything.

I moved to this town to be with my boyfriend, things didn't work out after almost two years.

I absolutely love my job, wouldn't quit it just to move back home, so I am face with the dilemna, do I rent or buy?

I have three cats and most rent places won't accept them.

I was wondering how hard it is to get out from underneath it if I decided to move out of this town after a few years.

Is it a really big hassel to sell a home?

I was arrested in California in Nov 2006 for an assault and battery (argument for mom) when the courts found out I had a warrant in Florida. They detained me and I bailed out with permission of a judge to resolve Florida issue. The judge made it clear that she would dismiss my case in California if I took care of the issue in Florida. Now I find out I have a warrant in California for misdemeanor assault & battery for not appearing to a court date. I was not notified I had a court date and assumed this issue had been taken care of because of a public defender I was dealing with. Will I be taken to jail if I go to California to resolve this? What are my options?
