I want to say that something is a one-off, an exception to the rule, an enigma, highly rare and abnormal occurrence... there is a word I'm looking for but I can't think of it! Please help?!

I'll bet it's gone AWOL.

I like your style, I like your honesty, I retract my 'vicious' retorts with impunity.

I do get battered a lot 'cos I don't take this thing too serious and that sometimes leads to misconceptions or clashes in senses of humour ...whatever.
