about 20 mins. Don't cut them too small else they will just fall to pieces, it doesn't help them to cook quicker really. Don't have them boiling too high either-theres no need. Just simmer

Depends on the size of the potatoes... it's best to cut them into smaller pieces, preferably in quarters to reduce boiling time, it should take about 15 mins, but make sure that you boil a pan full of water first, and them add the potatoes to it.

Depends on a few things - the type of potato, how small you chop them and how hard you boil them.
If you're doing mash, you can dice them small and the cook really quickly. If they are small, they may steam or boil in 10 minutes. Large ones will take a half hour.

You should cut them into quarters and bring the pot to a boil with the potatoes in them then gently boil for about 30 minutes.

That depends on how many you are cooking...if you are cooking one or two average size red ones,,,cup up in pieces,,it should take about 20 minutes. Have the water about four inches above the top of the potatoes...and check with fork to see if they are tender....

How high above sea level are you and what kind of potatoes are you cooking? The other answers are correct generally, but both of these other factors can come into play, especially the sea level consideration

put them in pan first fill with boiling water approx 25 mins when done fork should go through easily and they will be soft
