How would you want her to break it to you?

Sorry it's a day late

Hillary Clinton and her driver were cruising home along a country
road one evening when an ancient cow loomed in front of the car. The
driver tried to avoid it but couldn't.

The aged cow was struck and killed. Hillary told her driver to go up
to the farmhouse and explain to the owners what had happened and pay
them for the cow. She stayed in the car making phone calls.

About an hour later the driver staggered back to the car with his
clothes in disarray. He was holding a half-empty bottle of expensive
wine in one hand, a huge Cuban cigar in the other, and was smiling
happily, smeared with lipstick.

"What happened to you," asked Hillary?

"Well," the driver replied, "the farmer gave me the cigar, his wife

gave me the wine, and their beautiful twin daughters made passionate

love to me."

"My God, what did you tell them?" asked Hillary.

The driver replied, "I just stepped inside the door and said, 'I'm
Hillary Clinton's driver and I've just killed the old cow.' The rest
happened so fast I couldn't stop it."

One Christmas Eve, a frenzied young man ran into a pet shop looking for an unusual Christmas gift for his wife. The shop owner suggested a parrot, named Chet, which could sing famous Christmas carols. This seemed like the perfect gift. "How do I get him to sing?" The young man asked, excitedly. "Simply hold a lighted match directly under his feet." was the shop owner's reply.

The shop owner held a lighted match under the parrot's left foot. Chet began to sing: "Jingle Bells! Jingle Bells! ..." The shop owner then held another match under the parrot's right foot. Then Chet's tune changed, and the air was filled with: " Silent Night, Holy Night..."

The young man was so impressed that he paid the shop-keeper and ran home as quickly as he could with Chet under his arm. When the wife saw her gift she was overwhelmed.

"How beautiful!" She exclaimed, "Can he talk?" "No," the young man replied, "But he can sing. Let me show you." So the young man whipped out his lighter and placed it under Chet's left foot, as the shop-keeper had shown him, and Chet crooned: "Jingle Bells! Jingle bells!..." The man then moved the lighter to Chet's right foot, and out came: "Silent Night, Holy night..."

The wife, her face filled with curiosity, then asked, "What if we hold the lighter between his legs?" The man did not know. "Let's try it," he answered, eager to please his wife. So they held the lighter between Chet's legs. Chet twisted his face, cleared his throat, and the little parrot sang out loudly like it was the performance of his life: "Chet's nuts roasting on an open fire...."

You know I am sad for the innocent people killed here, but my heart kind of breaks for this kid too.

Who created this "monster"? How can a child get so screwed up that a parent tosses them out into the street, only to be taken in by someone else's family?

I mean this kid, if he was so bad, why did a total stranger think he was worth saving? And take him into his house?

It's obvious that this kid was hurting big time. When he lost the only things he had left that gave him any self respect or any dignity or any hope.... this is what happens.

I am really angry at his parents. I don't even care to know what this kid did that made him so unloved. But the blame starts there.

If people are ill equipped to be parents, then maybe it's time this government started making parenting courses available to society. Every child deserves to be nurtured and loved, and this kid was in terrible pain to have committed such a heinous crime.

The parents have blood on their hands too

not so religiously put, but collective power of thoughts.

yeah, i know - some of you are convinced "The human brain and the thoughts it creates are contained within the skull. The brain neither transmits nor receives information." [recent quote from a classic]

still... recent south-korean collective prayers for releasing the hostages, strange stories about korean or vietnames gathered in circles and american planes smitten with no apparent malfunctions during those wars, safe landings of space shuttles etc. etc. etc.

is it THAT crazy?

I have been to many countries and American's reputation is often their stupidity.

-We kill each other at triple the rate anyone else does.
-We have huge Army but low health and school systems.
-We worship celebrities as Gods.
-We know more about death than we do about life.
-We catch our Government and President lying to us on numerous occasion yet they are still empowered.

I can go on and on. I believe in the future we will certainly fall into civil war if the right thing happens. I.E Rodney King

what right does liz have to walk up to patrick and go off on him like that? doesnt she have her own probs, why get involved in other ppl's dramas? she was rude and out of place talking to patrick like that. i wanted to slap her. patrick is not her friend she had no right to say anything to him. she can advise robin all she wants they are friends but she was wrong to say anything to patrick and what right does she have to judge anyone. she is in love with a known murderer who is the father of her son but she keeps denying him a proper relationship with his child. her attitude pisses me off. neither she or robin has the right to force a baby on a man who doesnt want to be a father. patrick is not a horrible person for wanting to focus on himself for the time being. he is not a horrible person because he doesnt want to be a father. robin is a drama queen and very high matenance. and liz is a no good busy body who should get off her high horse and drop off the face of port charles
