I am not due to start my period until the 10th of November and I took one of those answer tests . Is there anyway that it could be wrong. Also if its not wrong when do you think I should go to the doctor. My baby is only 8 months old I have heard that it is also dangerous to have kids this close together. I know alot of questions all at one time but im a little crazy right now thanks for any help

A positive means you're pregnant....faint line or not. The hCG hormone (which is the hormone the test detects) is ONLY present if you are pregnant. So congrats!!
I got pregnant when my daughter was 8 months, too!! I'm now 27 weeks and my daughter will be 18 months when my next one is born (in March). The only problem I've had with having them so close together is my cartilage never got a chance to get back to normal....so I have achy joints. Also, it has felt like I've been 9 months pregnant for the last 3 months....like I can feel my pelvis spreading already. My doctor said that probably has to do with the pregnancies being so close together.
Try not to feel too overwhelmed about the small age difference. There is a huge difference between 8 months and 18 months. Your baby will be walking and communicating by then...which will make caring for a newborn much easier, in my opinion. Plus, everyone tells me that babies who are so close together entertain each other and that makes your job a little easier.
Congrats to you!! Since we're both in the same boat, if you have ANY questions or you just want to talk about it, feel free to email me.

If there is a line even though it is faint I would go to the doc and have them do a test to justify it. No it is not dangerous to have another baby so soon even if you had a C-sec before! My son is also 8 months old right now and me and my hubby were thinking about having another and my doc said it was perfectly fine to do so and my son was a c-sec. I just got off my birth control to start trying! Congrats!!!!! And if you are worried about them being so close together, don't be because they will be the best of friends. They will be about 1yr and 1/2 apart! Congrats again I hope I helped, another baby is a blessing, Think about all the women out there who want babies and can't have them, It's a blessing! Good luck hun!

Yeah!! You're pregnant!!
I took a test 2-3 days before I was supposed to get my period and I had a faint line..I kept testing because I couldn't believe it..In the two days following that I ended up taking like 8 tests..lol
Then once I had a dark enough line I called my doctors and they ordered a blood test for me..then I believed it.
Your baby being 8 months isn't too bad..alot of women have gotten pregnant again as soon as their baby is born.
I would just call your doctor and they'll set you up with an appointment.
Good luck!!

The pregnancy line tests for hcg in your urine, this is the pregnancy hormone that is produced once you have conceived. If the pregnancy line is showing, no matter how faint then it is almost certain that you are pregnant although only at an early stage with it being faint i'd guess. Good luck x

There is a possibility its a false positive (if you are breast feeding I have been told that increases the chance of a false positive). Did you mean Dec. 10th? If so you should wait until around Dec. 15th and retake the test. If you do not want to wait that long go to the doc this week and have a blood test. The sooner you go to the doc the better.

A yes is a yes is a yes and a no is a maybe but probably not. If a pregnancy test is wrong it's usually a false negative, they are hardly ever false positives. Go to the doctor to make sure.

A positive is a positive even if it is a faint line. It is fainted because your hcg levels are just starting to raise. It is more common to have false negatives than false positives, so you are pregnant. Congratulations!
You need to see your OB to take proper care of your new baby. It is not dangerous to have kids together if you receive proper medical attention.

I wouldn't be worried about the babies being so close, some people get pregnant w/ in the 4-6 weeks right after giving birth! You and the baby should be fine. :) I would call the Dr right away to begin making your prenatal visits.

Congrats sounds like your pregnant. Go ahead and call your Dr. they'll schedule a appt. for you. To answer if it's to early well people have had baby's sooner than that and everything turned out fine. If you've had a c-section the Dr. will advise you. Good luck!
