The world is falling appart ( as we know it)..global warming, ( floods, hurricans, tidel waves, droughts ...ect ) We're ripping out the the few remaining rain forests to make MORE bio fuels, 'cos we almost used up all the fossil fuels.......The world seems to be commiting suicide.... yet we're still building, destroying, poluting with more and more efficiency.... And to top it all,the the "leader" of the most powerful nation on earth is a compete imbecile. Trying to start yet ANOTHER war..just so his disasterous political "experiment" can go out with a BANG.....
So he and all his buddies can make so more $ selling arms and the like, once they finally get kicked out of congress.
Russia has returned to the Tsars ( with out the culture) China is eating everbody...While the europeans sit around and discuss........
Man its depressing.
Can anybody out there give me a reason not give up...
Up untill now I could always find some sort of excuse, but now it's really getting hard.

Thanks to all who answered my earlier question concerning my lab vomiting. His blood test revealed high levels of urea. The vet says that makes him vomit up all of his food and water.
The K/D prescribed food is to be fed to him a little at a time so hopefully he will be able to keep it down. He desperately needs to gain weight. Is there anything that can be done to get rid of the urea and not the dog?

I have a Ford Escort LX 97. I left the dome light turned on for 8 hrs and when I tried to start my car back it worked but I needed a couple of tries (so the battery was low I presume).
I drove for 2hrs and the day after I couldn't start my car.
Jumpstarting worked fine. I got my battery tested and it said battery perfect.

Before forgetting the light on I never had any problems and the battery is 8 months old. Then I changed battery, and two days after I couldn't jump start the car again. Did I damage something?

The all situation seems weird because it started as a light draining out the battery, then I thought the alternator was not charging the battery but the battery was charged. Now it does not jumpstart at all.

I brought it to a car repairer and he said my motor is locked up and basically I have to change car. Is it possible? How could I have driven till home with a locked engine?
Seems the mechanic is not cheating me since he said better not to spend money on that.

Thanks

How is a "crystal" vase different from a regular glass in how it's made? The only method I know of to make a glass is glass blowing. How do they make sets of glasses all exactly the same size and shape?

English is not my first language, and both words seem to mean the same, to me. Is there any difference, in meaning or in usage?

Do you use both? If not, which do you prefer, and how/when do you use it?

Thank you for your answers! :)

Have a wonderful day! :)

(summary: told baby was ugly by troll, ended up sobbing at keyboard)

bothered me a lot.

Like others, I've had e-mail/answers telling me I'm ugly, my baby's ugly, I'm fat, I'm bitter, and those seem to be the stock one-size-fits-all insults. I am none of the above and my baby is a doll. So -- shrug.

However. I have no post-partum depression or self-esteem issues. That sort of vitriol might devastate anybody who does.

One person's 'I feel fat' question was swiftly troll-answered with a nasty remark and a link to a picture of herself, at a URL that also held a pic of a regular poster's baby... That stalker element was a bit much, too.

Like I said, that question I linked to really made me upset. Making new mothers cry is going well beyond attention-seeking. It's vile.

So -- do something? What?

The craziest thing I've EVER done, was jump in a freezing cold swimming pool at 6 am in the morning, for $20.00. My stepdad dared me and my brother to do it without dipping our feet in first, just run and jump in as soon as he opened the gate. He also dared my brother to drink a gallon of apple juice, for $20.00, with only 3 breaks in between gulps. He did it, but was sick as hell and throwing up apple juice for the next 45 minutes or so. Good times! Tell me your stories. Did you regret it later?

I recently got into a bit of a debate about this over e-mail. We were discussing the fall of man. My opinion is that before God ever created the world He knew man would fall. This is why Jesus is called the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world. Their opinion was that if God knew man would fall then God had set into motion intentionally all the evil man has done and thus God could not know man was going to fall.

What do you think? Do you think God knew man would fall before He ever created us?

My husband and I haven't settled one bit on the babies name. Our most recent that we both agree on is Jacob. Are most Jacobs you know nice boys/teens/men/elderly men? Usually people grow into their names in my opinion.

It would be Jacob Patrick Kerr most likely. Or Jacob Stephen Kerr.

What you think??
