Those were the good old days when we was kids.I wanted the same as you a cabbage patch Doll and a rubix cube.I loved Christmas time as a kid,it was so fun.Back then life was much simpler,None of these High priced video games and ipods, all we had was a Walkman and 3 channels and we almost always got cloths. Excellent Questions,Thank for the memories~!!!!!

You must have grown up in the 80's! I wanted those things too! Along with Cabbage Kids, Preemies and Koosas, I used to also love Rainbow Bright and those Mandy Dolls. I also loved Barbie and one year I got that big Barbie Cruise ship as a gift from Santa and I was so excited!

The Sindy 3 Level Home, it was a dollhouse and Sindy was similar to Barbie. I got it, it was taller than me! It had a battery operated elevator and my brothers played with it more than I did! They spent the whole day running their cars up and down in the elevator, until the batteries died.

One year I wanted a certain doll (don't remember which one) and I spent all Christmas Eve bringing every doll I owned downstairs and lined them up on the couch. My mom asked what I was doing and told me to clean them up. I told her that I wanted Santa to see the dolls I had so he would be sure to give me a different one. Sure enough the doll I wanted was almost exactly the same as one I had (one had the apron stitched to the dress, the other one was seperate). My mom says she took that doll and hid it for about six months. I never knew the difference!

Cabbage Patch Kids were on every girls list, even if they weren't a "girly girl". I got a real CPK and a Preemie for Christmas one year and I thought I was the luckiest girl on earth. Yep, those were the good ole days.

I was the giver of the Cabbage Patch Doll instead of the receiver. My most desired gift was the Deluxe Dream Kitchen with fake food and battery operated rotisserie for the fake chicken. And yes I got it. Thanks for the memories. 8:)

Atari 2600....got it 6 months later for my birthday...AWESOME...oddly enough, I still have it and my friends and I pull it out from time to time, put on the 80's station on the satellite and our Members Only Jackets and go to town...yes I know...I need a life..but now we can inject beer into the equation....

I wanted an Easy Bake Oven. I never got it because my Mom told me that if I wanted to cook something I could use the REAL oven! Ha! I guess I'm glad now that she taught me that women aren't REQUIRED to do cooking and housework but I really wanted that oven!
