Because many of them are true. If I told even one tenth of what I do in my private life, you would think I am lying too.

I think that people make things up about themselves to seem popular, or just to get attention. They dont realize that most of the stories they tell are able to be heard as nothing more than bull$hit anyway. At least that is my opinion of it all.

People at work inherently get bored. They hear about something, then expand on it. It further expands with every person it gets told to.

It's human nature in the work-world. don't take any of it seriously.

I would imagine that his story could constitute sexual harrassment. I am surprised he would feel comfortable enough to tell the story.
