I'm about to become an atheist. How do people gain faith? To me faith seems to be based on nothing! You just accept something based on nothing... how does that work? How can you base your whole life on a hypothetical thing? If you do indeed experience God, how are you sure it's not suggestion, or psychology, or a delirium? How can you ever trust something blindly? How?! It doesn't make sense at all! How do you know there's a God and how do you know YOUR God is the right one? If your God is so powerful why are there so many religions in such great amounts? If your God is so kind why would the world basically work cruelly and randomly? If your God is so true why can I not see him? Why does blind faith work as your excuse for everything if it doesn't make sense? Can someone explain religion with logic? Is the forbidden fruit such a bad thing? Do logic and religion go together? Why does religion promote intolerance and ignorance? Why does it promote happiness?

ok this is kinda a long story but i love this girls so much and i would do literally anything to get back together with her.

k so im eating diner and she (my gf) calls me and says, "hey wats up?" and im like sorry i cant talk and se says, "no dont hang up dont go if you do ill break up with u" and im like okkk....... and so then she says "actually, we need to break up, im really sorry its just that i dont feel like were bf or gf (sumthing like that) i feel like we should b friends." and im like, "o.... ok" i ddnt wanna show i was sad cuz i was at diner and my parents were lookin at me. then i said "bi" and hung up.

after diner i went into my room and was depressed as hell. i kno we hav e been goin out for only 3 weeks but i feel so happy with her and wenever im with her theres nothing in the world that would make me sad or worried.

what do i do to make her like me again so i can go back out with her? cuz i still hav feelings for her and ild do ne thing to go back out with her

we had a flea outbreak from the previous owner of our apartments cat...at first we washed them and they were fine...fleas all combed out...then i put the spot on so i didnt have to use a flea collar and now i used the zodiac spot on and the cat might have licked a little...she first had lil slobber on her cheak and must have gagged it up...it was on her little lips.....then i rinsed her off.....washed the remaining zodiac off and forced her to drink water....now she is twitching every now and then...but seems fine is playing...keeps going behind the couch..but something just seems weird...my male russian blue we gave the same treatment...but he has just been sleeping...we rinsed it off and he is still sleeping...


any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Why do they ignore all the other countries that are dictatorships? Why do they stay silent on Israels nuclear weapons. Oh and their own??? The world opposes the US occupation of Iraq and the US is now seen as a bully that kills and tortures at will. Is this what American soldiers are fighting for?

Is it just me, or am I the only one who thinks the fair tax is an excellent way to not only lift the tax burden off the middle class' back, but also to restore honesty to the political system. Politicians give tax breaks to businesses in return for political contributions...eliminate that... and we finally have a system that is honest. Just as well, I would only be taxed on what I buy or use, Id even get to keep more of my own money! There are also many more benefits to it, like ELIMINATING THE IRS FOR GOOD!!! (which is far more harmful to America and the American people than GW Bush, Cheney, and all the LIBERALS in government put together!!)
Anyone else think this is a good idea?
If not... what is your objection to it?

What would you change about them? And what do you think they would change about you?

Mine would be....he falls asleep on the couch EVERY night...we never make love @ night because we never go to bed at the same time. If it were up to me, he'd never conk out on the couch again!

I think he'd want me to not worry about the small stuff as much, and learn to go with the flow more.

This has been a question on my mind for a while now, I have heard from everybody I know that work in wood shops to not rip on a radial arm saw because it is not a good idea, even though you can it would be safer to rip on a table saw. Because its gets annoying ripping on a table saw, having to set up the rip fence every time. Anyone have a idea why it is not a good idea to rip on radial arm saw?

I just bought a saturn ion 2 (2003) with 28k miles on it. I have put about 200 miles on it myself. About every 50 miles our so the passlock light goes on and a service vehicle message is displayed on the dash, yet my car starts fine and the alarm works normally? What can be wrong with the system?

Sulfamic acid and sodium nitrtae should not be brought together as solids for safety reasons. Nevertheless, why is water added to the containers containing each of the two solds before mixing them together to form a reaction that results in N2 gas? In about a year and a half when I graduate high school, I plan on taking a trip to Hawaii for most of the summer to visit my boyfriend and his family. I know that ferrets are illegal in Hawaii, but would it be permissible to bring them for a visit, given that they have up-to-date rabies vaccinations, kept indoors at all times and I have their health certificates, other paperwork, etc.? I can't find information anywhere on the internet, or even a place where I can send my inquiry by e-mail. Of course, if told I could by proper authorities, I would wish to obtain written permission just so I do not run into any trouble. Though I doubt I can bring my two ferrets with me, I think it would be awesome if they could come, and I want to make sure, either that they can or can't.


Note: I already know all about airline regulations regarding this issue, so there is no need to mention it. I just need to know if I can bring my two ferrets to Hawaii for a vacation.
