Saturn Ion 2 alarm problem?

Question

I just bought a saturn ion 2 (2003) with 28k miles on it. I have put about 200 miles on it myself. About every 50 miles our so the passlock light goes on and a service vehicle message is displayed on the dash, yet my car starts fine and the alarm works normally? What can be wrong with the system?

saturn alarms suck learn how to reset it as they lock you out all the time i think that car is turn the ignition on 20 muinets than take key out for a wile than start car normal call the dealer servics dept to get correct info i dont have my list handy
