So, me and my boyfriend and our 1 year old daughter are going to San Diego in February. We have already planned on going to a wedding at a winery and going to the San Diego Zoo, but what other fun stuff is there to do, that isn't too expensive, with a child?

I work as a receptionist/swtichboard operator, and today has been a very bad day indeed. I'm getting into trouble because of some phone calls that have been coming into the office.

The first call that's been causing problems is an elderly client who needs to speak to one of my co-workers urgently. I've sent him e-mails and even told him in person to call her back ASAP but she keeps calling and saying he still hasn't gotten in touch with her! The last time she called, I made double sure he was in his office before I transfered the call. HE STILL DIDN'T PICK UP! And I'm pretty sure the client is blaming ME for it!

Here's the second problem. Anytime I'm away from the phones, I push a button that makes calls ring to other people in the office so that they can answer for me. I've made double sure that I've done this all day today. A very big and important client claimed he called twice this morning and no one ever answered. Guess who's to blame? ME!

What's going on? What do I do?!

I'm recovering from anorexia. I once weighed only 6.2 stone at 5ft which meant i had a bmi of about 17. Making me underweight. I'm now recovering, and have gained about a stone and am no 7st. I now have a healthy bmi. I eat a healthy diet, including 3 meals and a healthy snack. I work-out at the gym for about an 1hr each day.

Please tell me if i'll get my periods back!
i'm only 14 and am desperate not to stunt my growth or become infertile. (i've not had my period for 5 months)

I eat real foods: leafy greens, whole grains, lean meats, fresh fruits, low-fat dairy, et cetera. I'd like to purge the fortified and enriched foods from my diet because they should be unnecessary. Does the government not trust us to make healthy food choices?

Well the mechanic put a 2nd pump in Tuesday after me telling him I tapped it and it started for me. so after doing this he wanted to keep it over last night and try fto start it again this morning guess what it DID NOT START just as it DID NOT START for me for many days except when I banged the gas tank
hE SAID IT IS NOT THE FUEL PUMP AND NOW THINKS IT IS THE IGNITION SWITCH
I also noted that the colder it is the mmore difficult it is to start too which brought me to the pump but dosen't seem to be the problem\ One other note is when I personally went to the mechanic and tried to start it with no start right with the mechanic he lifted the hood and un done a bolt and connected a guage --and asked me to start it and then it started so he took the guage off and told me the pressure was fine.

Our local Tampa Bay affiliate is carrying the details all day. SO far they interviewed Cooper who said U tube questions are asked then he has another... if the candidates get argumentative they have each been given alloted times to respond...

OK, I was with a few friends and we were discussing possible towns and venues to go to on a road trip. We started drinking heavily, and then we got to this 3 syllable concept. We started pounding our fists on the table, calling out the names of potential destinations, in clear-cut 3 syllable verbiage. We noticed that by far the best places flowed easily, while the lame places sounded forced.

Here are a few examples:

Sask---a----toon

Ed-mon-ton

Van---cou----ver

When we tried to say Toronto, it sounded forced with the 3 syllables, so it was removed (rightfully so). So…my question is, were we just drinking too much, or do the really cool places to visit work out well with the three syllables, and the lame places sound forced??? Minneapolis doesn’t work, but Louisville does. See what I mean???

It seems a lot of you are associating "faith" with "religon." Come on now, I thought you were suppose to be "logical." I got this from dictionary.com

faith
1. confidence or trust in a person or thing: faith in another's ability.
2. belief that is not based on proof: He had faith that the hypothesis would be substantiated by fact.

So now that you all have been enlightened about what "faith" really is. Is is safe to say that atheists have very strong "faith." I mean gez, they even use a science example for the 2nd definition, come on now.

Alright So I am eighteen years old and a freshman in college who is just starting to feel those freshman fifteen. I now weigh between 125 and 130. I've decided to start the special k diet today. Today (it's about eleven A.M.) I've eaten a bowl of Special K yogurt and berries with milk, and a small tangerine.

Any tips about what kind of cereal to eat? The water and bars are kind of spendy? Times to eat? Dinner? Any other tips? Thank you so much!

I'm looking for an apartment, but I want to live near a highway (I-93 in MA) so my commute to work is good. I tried googling, and I get way too many sites. Basically, I want a site where I say, I want to live less than two minutes from I-93 in certain towns (e.g. Cambridge), and up pops all the apartments, complexes, listings, etc.).

Let's assume for the sake of argument that evolution is 100% fact as it is now known, no issues, controversies, etc. Anyways.. The idea states that evolution is a system that should speed up as time passes. For the most part this is seen to be true. It takes forever to get past simple cells, a long time to get complex life, bla bla bla you get the idea. The more time passes, and when the system gets going, it speeds up. However, if we look at our world now, it seems evolution has come to a halt or a crawl. Animals are still complex, but we haven't seen anything that is pushing the limits beyond what we have known for a while. No matter what creature, nothing is improving by leaps and bounds like what the theory suggests and shows.

This theory also is shown through 'human evolution.' Our inventions started slow, fire, wheel. Took some time making tools, advancements, etc. But now we are doing electronics, and all that. It isn't slowing down, we are advancing rapidly.
