So, me and my boyfriend and our 1 year old daughter are going to San Diego in February. We have already planned on going to a wedding at a winery and going to the San Diego Zoo, but what other fun stuff is there to do, that isn't too expensive, with a child?

Van man, first of all, you have no idea about my finances. I cannot afford to go out there, my bf's brother is buying our pane tickets and we are staying with his mom. This will be the first time my daughter and I are meeting this side of his family. I understand that she is not old enough to remember, but that's what pictures are for. I would leave her at his mom's house, but since we are visiting her, she will be going with us everywhere. But, thanks for your input. And if I could afford alot, I wouldn't have suggested inexpensive in my original post.

A exciting place to consume may be the Corvette Diner...that is in Hillcrest. they have good foodstuff and rowdy, exciting servers. The Wild Animal Park is cool. i could advise a trip on the bay. there are dissimilar businesses that supply journeys on the water. you ought to bypass bicycling....or kayak in the path of the l. a. Jolla caves if the aspects is large. power up the precise of Mt. Soledad in l. a. Jolla for a large view of the city. there's a proper view of the San Diego skyline from Coronado Island as nicely. you cancontinual around the bridge or take a ferry from the downtown section. There could be a exciting play that the two one in all you're able to enjoy at one in all San Diego's theaters. Have a large trip!

Ya. The zoo is your best bet. Also they let you bring your own food and drinks in there. So bring a cooler if you like to save money. Next to the zoo is Balboa Park. It's a great place to walk around and lots of free stuff to do and see. The Ruben H. Fleet Science Center is a great place to take kids. Lots of hands-on stuff to keep your baby occupied.
Seaport Village is a nice place to go for a picnic. You can walk around the embarcadero and enjoy the great views.

I don't know how much this is but you could go to Legoland California in North San Diego County.

If you have the extra time and a little extra for a rental car, you could drive 90 min.-2 hrs. north of San Diego and go to Disneyland (or Knott's Berry Farm as it has a special play section for little kids).

Also, check out SeaWorld San Diego, too.

Check their websites and ask them if they have any special rides or attractions for toddlers.

I would recommend Balboa Park. You can walk around there and will not have to spend much money. If you go on tuesdays, they have some free museums. Just look through te web sight. http://www.balboapark.org/

You don't even have to go to any museums to have a god time. They have a great fish pond there.

You could also go to seaport village. It is another place to go with little expense. http://www.seaportvillage.com/

There are also unlimited parks all over the place.

I would suggest you leave your child at home with the inlaws
a child 1 years old would have no concept of what was happening or where they were........ if you can afford to go on holiday you can afford to arrange proper care for her while you are gone
