Okay, I had this bump on my eye lid for almost 5 months now,Since July 1st 07. has not went away,just always been there. it actually looks like its inside my eye lid making the bump apear on the outside. I don't know what it could be! I realized when it first showed up trust me,it wasn't hard... it hurt so bad the first few days to a week... It was a lot worse the first week making my eye swoop down funny... it still is swooped but not as much you can't really tell in less i point it out. But I never done anything about it because I thought it was from the pool... Because right after I came from the pool within that night or next day is when it started doing it... That's why I just assumed it was from the pool, and that it would go away pretty soon... because I had my eyes hurt from the pool before. The eye docter said my eyes are healthy (this was months before the bump when he said that). But does anyone know what it could be? If so, how do I get rid of it? Have you had this before?

Do you agree with people saying that "said" should not be used in writing? I don't! I mean, yes, it's a bit boring and can get repetitive, but you don't have to use said every time. And, personally, I never use said without having a ction or and adverb after it. For example:
"Go away," she said through gritted teeth.
"I'm bored," he said monotonuosly.( sp?)
I don't find it that bad! I know not to use it continously, but every author uses that word. I see it all the time, in the books they have us read at school as well! Now we;ve just been told that if we use this word in our writing, we will get points taken off. What do you think? I'm planning on becoming an author, and I want to know if anyone doesn't like seeing that word (see, I'm not using it!) in books or other forms of literature.

Okay, so my friend and I are going to the mall for my birthday.
She's thirteen, and I'm fourteen.
I talked to her about stopping at Spencer's to get a vibrator for both of us, and she's up for it, except we don't know if they check the age there.
I've heard some people say they do, I've heard some say they don't. I don't know, so that's why I'm asking.

I've heard that since they sell them as "massagers" and "gag gifts" that you can buy them any age...

Oh, and no smart remarks such as: "Oh, you're too young to be buying this, etc." At least I'm not going out and having sex.

I have,
-chicken
-cream of mushroom soup
-noodles
-rice
-broccoli
-cauliflower
-and pretty much any spices and condiments

I looked on the cambell's website but i didnt find much that uses broccoli, chicken, and cream of mushroom soup, that looked or sounded good.
I really need to use the chicken, mushroom soup and broccoli.
Everything else is just add ins i could use if needed.
Please help. I want to cook this tonight for dinner.
I was also thinking i could steam the cauliflower as a side dish.

burn? How easy/difficult will it be to ignite with the flint?

Yes, I KNOW that there are other ways and other things I could use, but please answer this question before you start asking why I didn't ask where to buy a butane lighter.

On a related topic, (optional question for extra credit) I've seen liquid fuel lighters with flint igniters and gas fuel lighters with piezoelectric igniters, but I've never seen liquid fuel lighters with piezo igniters or gas fuel lighters with flint igniters. I've even asked Zippo representatives at tobacco shops and they're clueless. Anybody know of a reason why the alternative variants wouldn't work? I'd love to have a lighter where I never needed to replace the flint, just fill it with fluid every so often.
