I saw it on TV back in middle school and I remember that I really liked it!

I remember that there was this muscular black woman who was really strong and was the assistant of the "bad guy" that James Bond was after. Then later on in the movie, the bad guy betrays his assistant so she switches sides and works with James Bond and helps him get back at the bad guy.

About three months ago, my boyfriend broke up with me. I feel like I’m ready to move on now, but I have become self conscious about my ceramic braces that I have had for about a year now. When I was with him, I didn’t notice I even had them, but now, I feel soooo self conscious. I’m 24 years old, and I was with him for a year and four months. Any advice? I especially get self conscious on dates, it’s a horrible feeling. I’ve always been really confident, and I have been told my braces are really cute, but I can’t shake the feeling.

If so, then isn't Y!A purposely allowing us, to NOT follow Community Guidlines, if we choose to give a thumbs down to someone? I don't really care either way, I'm just curious what you guys/ladies think.

My mom and dad are of the old school. Their culture (which I believe is behind 1000's of years behind but which I respect) dictates that if you bring home a girl/guy that it means you are serious with the person or bringing them home to be introduced to mom or dad as a precursor to marriage. So, hence we 4 kids in our late 30's are never allowed to bring anyone home unless for potential marriage.
Note: We kids respect our parents culture, however we are born here in America and go with the flow.
Example: My brother's girlfriend (who he will not marry) invited my family over to her home for Thanksgiving Dinner, but mom and dad refused to go because they are not serious, or considering marriage. My mother even told the girl kindly that it is her culture and explained it to her without offense.

So, what is your thoughts?

We recently purchased a house built in 1975. It is well-built but definitely dated. The bathtub is that ugly shade of mustard, and the toilet matches. The linoleum is absolutely horrifying. It is a disgusting poop color and especially grimy in the high-traffic areas.

We don't have much money, so we'd like to make improvements one by one as we have the funds. We were thinking of replacing the linoleum and toilet first, and then the bath-tub and cabinetry second. Is that a good approach? Who would we hire for each portion of the job? Is there any portion we could DIY????

Please help -- we're desperate! Love, poor new homeowners.

First off, everyone is created equal, and no one is above anyone. Plus, man makes mistakes, and authority figures are just as human as the non-authority figure. And its not like we choose who's in authority. We are born to certain families, and have certain parents and gaurdians. My parents are good parents, even though I dont always agree with them, but I've seen overly controlling parents who set such stupid rules, and are overly controlling, and would like to tell them they stink at parenting. Then we get put in school, and there are such corrupt teachers who set stupid rules, and give detentions for stupid reasons, and we didnt even choose to be with those teachers. Then you get the government, who are dictators, monarchs, or voted in, because they lied, and set stupid laws, and call stupid wars, like The Iraq war. It seems like saying that a resident of Texas automatically has more of a chance to sin, verses someone in another state, despite same action.

I often here Christians claim that Atheists are amoral, sinc ethe belief is that without some absolute authority looking over us, we have no basis for ethics. Now, for those of you that live in predominately Christian areas (the word "Muslim" can be substituted anywhere you see "Christian"), here's the question that keeps coming up for me.

If one lives in such an area, it is benificial (socially) to say that you are a Christian, It leads to being more accepted, and thus having opportunities within the community that non-Chritians will tend to be denied. In such a situation, would not an amoral person say they are Christian? So, just the fact that so many in the Us, for instance, are beginning to say they are atheistic, seems to mean they have enough morality to tell the truth about their convictions even when there seems to be great likwelihood of external cost. How do those making the amorality claim address this?

SYDNEY (AFP) - Santas in Australia's largest city have been told not to use Father Christmas's traditional "ho ho ho" greeting because it may be offensive to women, it was reported Thursday.

Sydney's Santa Clauses have instead been instructed to say "ha ha ha" instead, the Daily Telegraph reported.

i havent written anything in a long time and i just felt the urge to just now so please read and rate me out of 10 and tell me what you liked and didn't like... thank you.

in the start
i felt so numb
like a shock went through my system
paralyzing my very soul
but somehow...
i'm healing now...
i can feel my wings again

i never really knew
how much potential life had
to be so stressful beyond belief
but i felt it before
and i left it behind
because i knew
my soul was not a shelf
for such a heavy book
with too many pages to count

i used to think
i was so insignificant
but now i can see
the truth that you may not really love me
as much as a mother should
so i'll just ignore you too
and maybe you'll wake up and see
i'm not coming back home
cuz i sold your book
with all your lies
and i can start another life
with a blank page
a flyleaf dedicated to the ones who truly love me
with my wings finally able to fly
after so long

cuz it's all over for you
it's too late to say you're sorry
