My husband and I are pretty new to the whole DIY and are not to sure how to go about this. I have read that if the vinyl is not cushioned you need to use adhesive. What am I looking for and what is it called? Also the MDF we want to lay on is our 'floor'. We have an 85+ year old house with some dodgy floors, all a bit slopey in the 70's addition of the house. As it is impossible to get willing tradies where we live we put joists on top of our wonky floorboards and installed a new floor of 15mm MDF. Please tell me we can put adhesive on this. All answers greatly appreciated as we are in the throes of it as I type.

the thing is i have a boyfriend that goes to a different school. he's really nice, cares a lot, gets jealous easily, and funny. i really like him and we get along so well. there are times when we fight but in the end we make up. well there's this christmas dance coming up and he's not allowed to come. lately ive been noticing this other boy. there was a movie night at school, and we got along well and talked a lot. at lunch i was talking to my friends and i was considering asking the boy to be my date for the dance until i realized that i was almost cheating on my boyfriend. i really like my bf, but then this other boy i get along well with too. they're almost the same. the problem is my boyfriend is never around since we go to different schools, and i only see him during the weekend. the other boy i see all the time since we go to the same school. i like him, but i like my boyfriend the same. what should i do? should i break it off or stay with him? im so confused. help!?

It's been a week,I called my friend and samething is happening ot her.So im like " My eyes are all crusty and glued shut when i wakeup.. From the eyegoo thing.. And allot of eye goo comes out and my eye is blurred cuz of the goo.. It's yellow..My eye burns cuz i picked it too much.. It itch a little but the thing is it GOO'S OUT LIKE CRAZY!! The thing is my eye isn't red but puffyin the bottom.. and i wear contacts..

I'm going shopping tommorw,So what should iget, to make it better..and my eye is getting pink a lttle.. And it's been a week..

Okay, what is the Navy's role in the Persian Gulf? What are the sailors doing there? How safe is it there? what is time? have you ever thought about it? how can time EXIST?

existance is majorly defined for objects. for example an apple can exist. a car can exist. an atom can exist. but what does it really mean to say time exists?

is there an outside existence?

time is related to space as a fourth demention but in reality is it even possible? a demention in the same coordinations as space? It's hard for me to see how a constant cocept such as space can be related to a constantly-chanting concept such as time.

about a month and 10 days ago i had unprotected sex. about a week later my stomach started to hurt and it still hurts to this day over a month later...i looked up pregnancy symptoms and noticed i had quite a few of the signs. the day i should of gotten my period has already passed but last night i started to have light bleeding and today it got a little heavier but it's not real bad like a normal period. i thought for sure i was pregnant but i don't know now since i'm having what seems like a period. i've looked up so much stuff online to try to get answers but i've found all diffrent kinds of stuff for everything so i don't know what to believe. i never took a pregnancy test because it's like impossible for me to go to the store alone because i don't have a car so i'm always with friends and i didn't want to tell anyone about this. so i guess my question is...is it possible to be over a month pregnant and still have what seems like a period, could i of had a misscarraige? i'm confused

I noticed that I sometimes feel a stabbing pain( ? ..like as if something is pricking me) often at the left side of my thorax. I can't determine if the pain is located right by my ribs or at the ICS. the pain doesnt radiate and it lasts for a few seconds although rarely does it cause severe pain that I have to hold my breath. Whenever that happens I have to breath intermittently cause it hurts in every inspiration. I dont visit the doctor so I don't know what it is. at first I thought it was due to lack of oxygen or something like muscle cramps because i noticed 'the attacks' to occur when I laugh too hard but now, 'the attacks' just happen. Can someone tell me if it means anything? thanks

Greenhouse gasses are only one element in the many factors that control our climate.

The main greenhouse gas is water vapour, accounting for about 95% of it.

The total CO2 accounts for only about 3% of the greenhouse effect.

The vast majority of the CO2 entering our atmosphere is caused by evaporation from the ocean, after that there is respiration, decomposition and volcanic eruptions. The total caused by human activity is only a minute fraction of the total CO2 entering our atmosphere.

So in short

Greenhouse gasses are only one part of the story

C02 is only a minor greenhouse gas

Human contribution to C02 is only fractional.

So how can man made CO2 be the main driving factor in our climate? Or if you believe the alarmists, it is the only factor.

my new wife has in the past abandoned her own children twice but since the death of her husband now has custody of them.Can my ex use any of this info to limit my visits with my son?My son dislikes me & refuses to spend time with me my ex told me to leave it up to him he doesnt like my wife or her kids.My ex said shell help him not go if thats what he wants.I have a few things that could go against me &this thing with my wife.I want to make him spend time with us can I?I have blacked my daughters(shes 16) eye before,hit &kicked her but her mom doesnt stop me & my ex knows all of this.I just want my son to know who I am Im afraid hell forget me & that his mom will let him grow up to be a pansey she lets the boy play with dolls hes 6yrs old & needs to stop that! Why cant my ex just let me &my wife build our family w/o making it so hard? Spending time w/ my wifes son would be a good way to toughen up the boy so wont turn out like my exs other boys all smart & geeky

Why in the movie the Matrix, if someone gets shot after being "plugged in," they die in real life.

An example being: when Neo is shot in the chest in "the Matrix," he spits up blood while he is on the ship. Why is this? If it is just a computer program, or something of the nature, why would he die in real life.

man you guys are killing me. i was considering going to school to get my ba in psychology but from what im reading unless i want to be in school for 10 years and MAYBE land a job thats a bad idea. ok, so what about social science, nope once again horrible idea, from what i read. ok folks im 33 yrs young and i want to go back and earn my ba. i suck at math and computers (blunt, sorry) so where does that leave me? we have our first baby right around the corner and daddy needs a better career. i dont want to be a cop, or fire fighter either..lol..i want my ba and i want a nice suit and tie job but everything im intrested in all ive read is complete crap and waste of my time.
let me guess nurseing..lol..no thanks. my intrests are all over the place from history, politics, law, psychology, and fitness..lol..any ideas? seems like all of mine get shut down when i reasearch on yahoo answers..lol
