Bush himself said that the outing of a CIA agent was treasonous and that, if he ever found out who exposed Plame, he "would deal with that person". I also think it is an act of treason, and it should be thoroughly investigated. We know they will connect Rove, Libby, Cheney and McClellan to the conspiracy. This is just another chapter in the bad judgment of this administration. How many bad decisions should this President be allowed? I worry that he has enough term left to make even more messes!

For the woefully ill-informed, McClellan never said that anybody in the Bush administration was responsible for the leak.
The investigation, as testimony bore out found that the original leak was from Armitage at the State Dept, and that Rove and Libby only confirmed what reporters had already found out. That's not a crime, and they were not charged with any crime.
You, and others like you, are reading into what McClellan is saying without having done your homework. You've let your desire for this to be true mislead you into believing it to be true, but there are no facts to support your belief.
It is this grasping at the unreal, and the failure to look for actual proof, that makes people like you so contemptible.

It is obvious that a lot of people here who have answered "yes" don't even know the definition of the word.
==================
trea·son
Pronunciation: \ˈtrē-zən\
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle English tresoun, from Anglo-French
"The offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family. "
==================
By the definition of the word the answer is unarguably "no."

Bush is guilty of treason. He lied America into a war that has cost thousands American lives yet hasn't attended one dead soldier's funeral.
As for the CIA agent outing, he should hang for that.
He has cheapened what it means to be an American in the world and made it unsafe to be an American, period.
The necons on these boards are crazy, literally. They stand between the rest of us and restoring dignity to the word "American."

Scott McClellan already disagrees. He has taken back some of his words, and has said through his publisher that Bush did not knowingly mislead him about the Plame leak. All these these ex insiders quickly change their tune, and I wonder why.

Nope, can't agree.
And, even if it were, treason is really a very under-prosecuted crime.

I wouldn't go that far, but I don't beleive in justice till they're tried for war crimes. A FAIR TRIAL.
