I see him being an All-Star in a couple of years.

Yes he's starting to get it! It's hard to play fast-paced in the NBA and adjust espicially when about 2 years ago he was somewhere in high school! But he's starting to get it now.
I think he's gonna be key for the Lakers mainly because there's just Kobe and Lamar Odom, so he's going to have be a solid third player for his team. I also see the potential for him being an All-Star in a couple of years. Keep developing and he'll be a force to be reckoned with!

I have no idea what the first guy is saying. He said that the Lakers would be smart for keeping him?? Because of Andrew Bynum they didn't get KG or Jermaine O'neal. That guy has no idea what he's talking about, yes Andrew got better, but he's not good enough to make a significant improvement on the Lakers. Trust me the Lakers are doing good right now, but wait until we get deep into the season, they won't be doing so great. This exact same thing happend last season, and history repeats itself.

I think time will tell. Yes, he's off to a good-start but can he sustain. I'm a little worried that he doesn't have the stamina- i mean he's already winded after 30 minutes-- he needs to get more in shape and that will help him hustle up and down the court (one of his strong points). Also keep in mind that he is still picking up some silly fouls. He shows a lot of potential but needs a couple more years to get seasoned. The question will be can they trade him to get someone that will keep Kobe in L.A.

Go Lakers!

P.S.: Doesn't Andrew Bynum look like one of the Ninja Turtles???

I have no idea what Daniel K is talking about. Bynum is NOT the reason the Garnett trade didn't happen. The truth is there's no way McHale was going to make a move to significantly upgrade the Lakers. Old rivalries die hard. He didn't mind helping out his old team though, plus it got Garnett out of the west. As for O'Neal - Bynum/Odom for O'Neal does nothing to improve the Lakers, and did you happen to see those two straight stuffs Bynum handed O'Neal the other night?

Bynum and Farmar are better than last year and, if you recall, last season's slide began when the injury bug hit, particularly to Odom who was gone for long stretches of time. If the team stays relatively healthy so will their playoff chances.

Definately. He's got great hands, good size, precise power moves, and he's getting some toughness...
Hes a project... He could well turn into another dwight howard in a few years... But that doesnt make the bringing of an all star less needed in order to keep kobe a laker and lakers a play off contender...

Yes he has great size, speed and skills.... He came into the legue probably the worst way you can... with someone who hogs the ball and a sinking team but yes he is starting to help them alot now so yeah he'll make it in the soon future

yeah, he's getting it.
He's doing good so far this season. But then again, last season he started great, then plateau'd.

He's only 20, and plenty of room for improvement.
I think he'll be GREAT in the up coming years =]
