The way these bmw drivers go -- is appalling. They would routinely go at least 25 to 30 mph over the posted speed limit. They will tailgate you and try to intimidate you even if you are on the extreme right lane and the left lane is unoccupied. They will pass and change lanes so aggressively, jump red lights. Will send glares to your eyes, by using high beam lights only for fun. Even the rare view mirror would blind your eyes -- such strong high beams they use.

They blast the music at full pitch so that the whole town can hear some britney spears song of "gimme more", etc etc

Yeah i know bmw is nice car. Costs money, has 8 cylinder engines and 300+ horsepower. But that doesn't mean you have the right to abuse its engine power.

And around 48% of car crashes in my area are bmw caused.

I bet these are lowlife, spoiled brats who are showing off their cars on road.

I will never buy a BMW even if i can afford one, because i'd be labeled an AHOL driver too.

I had the most amazing dream and although I have an idea what it means, I turned it into a piece of prose.
The style plays with wording, structure and occasionally defies rules in order to convey the fluidity of a dream which was realistic but also jumped from place to place and had a surreal and ghostly feel.

GRATEFUL for comments, thoughts and criticisms. Here is the link to the short piece entitled Ramshackle Beach Hut In the Sun

Instead of milk and cookies, leave him a salad, and a note
explaining that you think he could stand to lose a few pounds.

While he's in the house, go find his sleigh and write him a
speeding ticket.

Leave him a note, explaining that you've gone away for the
holidays. Ask if he would mind watering your plants.

While he's in the house, replace all his reindeer with exact
replicas. Then wait and see what happens when he tries to get
them to fly.

Keep an angry bull in your living room. If you think a bull goes
crazy when he sees a little red cape, wait until he sees that
big, red Santa suit!

Build an army of mean-looking snowmen on the roof, holding signs
that say "We hate Christmas," and "Go away Santa."

Leave a note by the telephone, telling Santa that Mrs. Claus
called and wanted to remind him to pick up some milk and a loaf
of bread on his way home.

Throw a surprise party for Santa when he comes down the
chimney. Refuse to let him leave until the strippers arrive.

While he's in the house, find the sleigh and sit in it. As soon
as he comes back and sees you, tell him that he shouldn't have
missed that last payment, and take off.

Leave a plate filled with cookies and a glass of milk out, with
a note that says, "For The Tooth Fairy. :)" Leave another plate
out with half a stale cookie and a few drops of skim milk in a
dirty glass with a note that says, "For Santa. :("

Take everything out of your house as if it's just been robbed.
When Santa arrives, show up dressed like a policeman and say,
"Well, well. They always return to the scene of the crime."

Leave out a copy of your Christmas list with last-minute changes
and corrections.

While he's in the house, cover the top of the chimney with
barbed wire.

Leave lots of hunting trophies and guns out where Santa's sure
to see them. Go outside, yell, "Ooh! Look! A deer! And he's got
a red nose!" and fire a gun.

Leave Santa a note, explaining that you've moved. Include a map
with unclear and hard-to-read directions to your new house.

Set a bear trap at the bottom of the chimney. Wait for Santa to
get caught in it, and then explain that you're sorry, but from a
distance, he looked like a bear.

Leave out a Santa suit, with a dry-cleaning bill.

Paint "hoof-prints" all over your face and clothes. While he's
in the house, go out on the roof. When he comes back up, act
like you've been "trampled." Threaten to sue.

Instead of ornaments, decorate your tree with Easter eggs.

Dress up like the Easter Bunny. Wait for Santa to come and then
say, "This neighborhood ain't big enough for the both of us."

I was using a freeware called spybot-search & destroy. After I used it I rebooted my computer.I tried to open outlook, it asked me if I should change a registry value because of some error. The buttons were not visible only the upper portions were, so I clicked on the left one and the registry changed due to which entire microsoft office doesn't open. I checked the excludes directory of spybot and got the following
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\rvoncl=C:\WINDOWS\System32\rfkvcn.exe reg_run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\nsvod=C:\WINDOWS\System32\rfkvcn.exe reg_run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\MSMSGS="C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

back up directory is empty. There are many other directories. I dont know where to look into. Is there a way out in the registry editor. My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ,most are empty

(Sorry for double posting. Pretty sure I put this in the wrong place the first time.)
Hey, I'm having a problem trying to find information on this. My friend found a picture she made for her website. It, was on someone elses myspace. She was really pissed. I feel stupid for not knowing. Is this considered "Plagiarism"? If not, is there a word for using someones art like that? No link, no permission, no name?
Honestly I go around finding pictures that I want to add to my myspace. Usually I pick old classical paintings, but I had at least one new one there too. I could not find a name for the artist or anything, So I just put a link under it *AND DELETED IT RIGHT AWAY BECAUSE OF THIS*

So what's the deal? Posting pictures on myspace? Or just sites that are really public like that, not selling or saying it's yours? Does artist need to be contacted? Or should you just have links and names and what not?
I respect artists, so I'll look stupid asking this

im hoping to get a pretty reasonable desktop computer working with a budget of maybe 1.5-1.8K (aus) ...

(at the moment, my laptop is the laggiest of laggers.. i put a dvd in AND IT LAGS, even though it would be the only window open.. for crying out loud, i put a cd in, A CD! AND IT LAGS! ...)

i dont mind getting it custom built, but i need help with hardware specs so i dont end up paying for stuff i wouldnt really need.

- im not a fulltime hardcore gamer, only occasionally.. well maybe i would be a lil hardcore were it not for my laggy comp.. i think i'll play sims 2 often =]
- i usually listen to music while im doing stuff
- i more than often have 3 or more windows open simultaneously
- i want to watch/edit/burn vids/mulitmedia/pics without it lagging
- i multitask heaps ..
-i like things fast..
-i wouldnt want the cpu to sound like a lawnmower..
-it would be nice if the comp was sexy, but i need it to be a rocket =]

advice would be cool =] ty

Is is to ensure that we DO feel less guilty when we over spend at Christmas? I know that when I did a Business/Economics study 10 years ago, one of our lecturers said (and it stuck in my mind) that every goverment wants to stimulate a spending bug in their society as it keeps a country going, encourages foreign investors, and creates a healthy enviroment financially. I know in a broad generalisation this may be true, but I think its a big hype to already forcast in the media that everyone is going to overspend and worry about debts after Christmas.. its like giving everyone the green light to go and get that loan or do their credit card in a bit more. Scary no?? We all do it, but how much does the media effect our decision or spending behaviour this time of year? Or are we even aware of it as being a tactic?
