The way these bmw drivers go -- is appalling. They would routinely go at least 25 to 30 mph over the posted speed limit. They will tailgate you and try to intimidate you even if you are on the extreme right lane and the left lane is unoccupied. They will pass and change lanes so aggressively, jump red lights. Will send glares to your eyes, by using high beam lights only for fun. Even the rare view mirror would blind your eyes -- such strong high beams they use.
They blast the music at full pitch so that the whole town can hear some britney spears song of "gimme more", etc etc
Yeah i know bmw is nice car. Costs money, has 8 cylinder engines and 300+ horsepower. But that doesn't mean you have the right to abuse its engine power.
And around 48% of car crashes in my area are bmw caused.
I bet these are lowlife, spoiled brats who are showing off their cars on road.
I will never buy a BMW even if i can afford one, because i'd be labeled an AHOL driver too.

And i'm amazed to discover that many others have asked this same question on yahoo answers. I thought its just me, who feels that way but there are others too who see this.

Because it is not the car that makes them as you so elegently put it "AHOL" but its the way the person is. The person is probably a high paid layer and usualy acts that way in general.
I know a person who drives a BMW. He does not act like the rest of them because he isnt that kind of person. He had to take out a billion loans just to get it.
Its the money and the person who is the ahol not the car that makes them that way.

I think you're clueless. I own a BMW and NEVER drive that way. I am always polite and courteous on the road and sometimes i let everyone pass me! I don't blast 'Brittany Spears' music. I listen to all types of music. I never flash my highbeams at anyone and I would never try to intimidate other drivers.

In real life, I was looking at prices for a 20yo 2CV dyane and they can be way more expensive than a 5 year old BMW.
But these BMW drivers will never know it.

we do not all drive our BMW's like that. and most do not because we tend to take care of them. there are many aggressive drivers out there with all kinds of cars. and 48% of car accidents BMW caused? Not a chance.
