The 4 year old house we have a contract on tested for high radon levels in the finished basement. I read about it and coming from a family with a high rate of cancer it makes me very nervous. Even if we have it fixed I feel as though I will be too scared to ever spend time down there. The beautiful finished basement was why we were buying the house in the first place. Any advice or personal experience with radon? Thanks!

My sister needs a cedar tree to pick fresh cedar berries from so she can make a tea that, according to native tradition, can help with certain ailments--one of them being diabetes.

Is there anyone who may have (or know of someone who has) a cedar tree, or can send us some fresh cedar berries by mail and we'll pay for the postage + extra. Let me know please if you have any leads or if you can help. thanks!

I met this girl on october 19/2007 and I left her a text/voice message and she replied back on october26/2007 with a text message" Goodnite Mike, kiss,Michelle and also a 2nd message on the same night-"I have been busy/ready to move and i will write back.And then I haven't heard from her in 10 days and I tried to call her"subscriber doesn't accept icoming call" and then I have received text message on November 6/2007"My phone was stolen,how are u doing?
And from November 06/2007 I haven't heard anything from her.
On November 9/2007 I called her and she didn't answer and then I tried a private call and she answered and hanged up/disconnected.From November 09/2007 until now-I sent a her a few text messages/and a few calls..
Still, I haven't heard anything form her?
I NEED SERIOUS OPINIONS ABOUT THIS!!!

I'm 15 years old and I want to go into the performing Arts carea when I'm older. While many, say "illegal immigrants" bring diseases and that they don't pay taxes, others say that illegal immigrants enrich our economy, such that 75% pay taxes. Really the truth is that, immigrants just come to the U.S FOR! a better life. I mean how would you feel if YOU! were an immigrant I'M SURE! that you would be seeking for a better life just like they immigrate from their countries to ours, "THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." They take jobs that others can't take because they are too harsh.
a quick example: the fires that were happening in California, many immigrants homes were burned down, and they wanted to get aid from donations that others donated, and they couldn"t just because of their immigration status. BUT YET, when immigrants wanted to donate, they were permitted.!!!!
IT'S just so amazing how discrmination is increasing in this country.....
whats your opinion?.
