I would like to send a package for the holidays to my little sister, but I don't know what is or isn't allowed. Also, when should I send the package, so that she will get it by or around Christmas-time??

Please provide any info and sources/links.
Thanx in advance!

I did NOT purposely post this question multiple times. I apologize if it is annoying -- it annoys me too, because my yahoo! answers has gone haywire AND I lost a lot of points.

Thanks to those who responded!!

It depends on what location your military family member is at. The best things to do is call the base from which she is from, just look up the human resources number and they should direct you in the right area. Also try going to www.military.com and researching it.

Check out the USO website, they may have info. Also, any local American Legion Post should at least guide you to the answer, if not answer it completely.

Considering how many times you posted this same question, it would have been faster to call the Department of Defense.
