As a beginner, which DSLR camera better, Sony Alpha100 or Canon Rebel Xti a.k.a EOS 400D.

I am throwing my husband a surprise party this weekend. He is turning 30 so I know this is kind of a big deal when it comes to birthday's right? I need some party ideas that are not too girly or childish. I was thinking a casino theme with a poker table and lots of "scene setters" to make it look like Las Vegas since he has always wanted to go there. Can anybody please give me some ideas? And guys, what would you want for your party? (don't you dare say strippers lol)

(Rephrasing because some didnt' understand)

After not having said anything negative to my boss in 3 years of working there, I said something. As a response, I got fired a week later. Their reason? "It's not working out."

I have never been written up. I have had stellar performance reviews the entire time. I have had 3 promotions -- more than anyone else in my department.

I was the only female manager. I have heard other managers get into it with him and they shake it off. He calls it courage when they do it. Once when I stoof up to another manager, he called it "bi tchy".

Is it alright that I got fired? Do I have a case? Can I sue?

Earlier, I posted a question about my sick husband who takes the smallest symptom and turns it into the biggest illness. I don’t think his mother was too happy with me yesterday. She is a sweet person to those who she wants to be sweet to, but overall she is blunt, rude and controlling and it drives me crazy. I went to church yesterday and I asked my husband several times if he was okay to stay at home alone (for congestion and sore throat). He said he was so I was off to church. Afterwards, me and my three aunts went to dinner as usual. I ordered my husband a to-go plate and headed home. I get a call from my mother inlaw and when I answer the first thing she says is “___, how’s ___ doing?”. I said “Fine I guess. I’m not at home yet”. Then I paused and said “I talked to him earlier though”. She said “Well what did he say” (and she said it firmly). I said “He is laying down”.

I was at a nursery a couple months ago and saw a variegated Wandering Jew plant like I have never seen before. The inside half of every leaf was pale pink to white and the outer half was dark green. Really neat looking. Unfortunately I was moving out of state the next day so it was not a good time to buy a plant. I haven't been able to find this specific variation on the internet. Any idea?
