Some other favorite's are the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon (I can't recommend that series enough), The Winthrop Woman by Anya Seton, Something Borrowed & Something Blue (two books by Emily Giffin), Alphabet Weekends by Elizabeth Noble, and anything by Anita Shreve, Nicholas Sparks, or Jennifer Weiner.

A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole. This has got to be the funniest thing I've ever read. I've probably read it a dozen times over as many years. I never get tired of it.

My favorite book is "The Golden Compass" by Phillp Pullman. I just love to read anything fantasy. I could read that book over and over for a month and not be bored.
