Ok, I have kind of bad eyesight...

The other day, I was looking in a mirror, and noticed that things that are far away are still blurry.

I turned around and looked at the objects directly, and noticed that when I look in the mirror, they are just as blurry as looking at them directly.

Why is this? It seems like since I am so close to the mirror, and am seeing it up close, that the objects wouldn't be blurry...

I have been driving for over 40years and I only learned this today.
Have you ever been driving a strange car and pulled in for petrol
and had to get out and look which side you fill up.
Well there is such an easy way. Look on your petrol gauge there is a small icon of a petrol pump. Whichever way the the filler pipe points either left or right that is the way you fill up.
Why have I never known this, it would of saved me many a creacked
neck hanging out of cars looking for the filler cap.
Is this just me or is this common knowledge.

So, what about prayer to Mary and the saints in heaven?

Those in heaven pray with us and for us, as in the book of Revelation when John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8).

A prayer is a request. When we pray to Mary and the saints in heaven, we are asking them to pray for us, the same way non-Catholic Christians ask their friends or family to pray for them.

What with the kid who had the "heart attack" in Nagoya, match fixing allegations, the guy who skipped out on the exhibition tournament with a fake injury, Akebono's lame post-sumo career, etc. etc. is sumo going down the tubes? Or has sumo always been rigged, always had brutal bullying, always had guys who fake injuries, etc. , but now we just hear about it because of the internet, weekly magazines, etc. In any case, I don't blame kids for passing on a grand sumo career.
