my diet is always low carb, less than 30% of my daily cals are derived from carbs

chickpeas are low GI as they are a high fiber carb. they are a perfect example of the type of healthy carbohydrates that humans are designed to consume regularly.

No, hummus is not low carb. Garbanzo beans (the thing hummus is made from) are considered 'protein' because they have a lot of that, but they are still packed with carbs, too. There are also other ingredients in hummus, but those are all on the Atkins diet, the best low carb diet around.

dont be on a low carb diet. its carbs that make u feel full for long so u wont feel the urge to snack on fatty foods. it should be fat and sugar u cut down on not carbs. gees some people. and my god i cant believe people do the atkins diet. etf
