You're fine and always pay attention to your body's queues. Don't even think about lighting up again or else you'll throw up. That feeling is not going to go away.
Stressing over things like this aren't good for you or the baby. So read up on pregnancy. It's entirely normal not to be showing & to have gas at 9 weeks.

Your baby is healthy, so put your mind at ease. Smoking can have that effect on you when you become pregnant. So, I guess now is the time to quit. You probably won't show enough for people to notice you are pregnant until about 5 months along. Gas is SO normal in pregnancy. You are fine and your baby is fine. Good luck to both of you!
The only birth defect with smoking is a smaller birth weight, man thse people act llike you've done hard street drugs or something! Listen, if it is hard for you to stop smoking, my Dr. said that the patch is safer than cigarettes. Hope this helps!

Some people don't show for a lolng time. Don't worry about that. I was a smoker when I got PG and the same thing happened to me! So I ended up quiting. It just wasn't worth it. And it is healthier for the baby. If you can give them up that is the best thing to do. If not then Dr's say not to. If it stresses you out too much. Good luck. And Don't worry your baby will grow,Babies with smoking mommies tend to be smaller though

I'm glad the smoking made you throw up. Cut that out. If you're worried about your baby, smoking will not help at all.

Very, very bad for baby. Every minute of development is very important, not just when you're showing...my god.

Yes, gas is normal. Yes, it's normal to be barely showing if not at all at 9 weeks. My sister is 22 weeks with her second baby, very healthy pregnancy...you can hardly tell. I pop right away. Everyone carries and pops differently.

Well first of all,lol stop trying to smoke! It made me throw up too and I just didn't do it.
Second, Hun.. you are only 9weeks along.. You wont be showing for a while, earliest would most likely be around 4-5 months. As long as your are getting prenatal care and the doc doesn't have any concerns, don't worry yourself about it.
Just eat healthy, light exercise, and don't smoke or drink and you'll be just fine.

First of all.. If you KNOW you are pregnant and you are TRULY worried about this baby then why in the world are you even trying to SMOKE!??!???? You first of all need to stop being selfish and throw all your nasty cigarettes out!! All you are really doing is hurting that little baby. Some women show early but most don't really start to show until the 3rd month or later. That's not bad. You should really be careful what you do in your first trimester because what you do now can really effect that child... Grow up.. Your going to be a mom and you need to stop all harmful habits in order to insure a healthy baby.

You are completely fine. I didn't really start to show until I was around 12 weeks. Some women show early, others don't. It depends on how you carry and your frame. Don't smoke! Your baby gets every bit of it. There are so many birth defects that are associated with smoking! If you are really worried about your child's health...you won't smoke. Good luck with your pregnancy!

If you keep smoking, your baby will not be healthy. Stop being selfish and give it up. You made the decision to get pregnant (or have unprotected sex), now it's up to you to put the helpless baby before yourself. Keep smoking, and your baby could have brain damage, damage to other organs such as the heart, and/or could die. Oh, and did you know there's a new law that states if your baby is born addicted to anything, and/or it's determined that your smoking/drinking/drug use caused a problem in the baby, you will lose custody and face child endangerment charges? So get yourself some help; every time you smoke, you are slowly killing your child. Good luck.

well if you are not showing much is not bad at all, but smoking is bad. I was a smoker when I was pregnant and I did not smock until I had my baby and done with breast feeding. so I think is good for baby if you don't smock for until you have your baby. you can have gum and altos of fruit to make yourself not thinking of smocking. good luck with your baby. best wishes for you and your baby:)
