what exactly were those "evils"? i've known countless wiccans of all ages, and never have i come across anything in their rituals that was evil, yet some people in here claim this to the be case.

if you left wicca or any branch of paganism because of it's evils, what were they? please be specific and honest.

(i asked this recently and didn't get any answers from whom i directed it to, so i'm trying again. thanks to all who answered the first time)

First of all:

The Employment Nondiscrimination Act, passed in the House of Representatives does not FORCE your private Christian organizations like churches etc to hire anyone they do not want to. I ACTUALLY READ THE EDNA Act and it gives private religious institutions full autonomy and 100% freedom on who they hire and fire. You will not be forced to hire a gay person or pagan person if you do not like gay and pagan people.

Second: Christian spokepeople have been saying that ENDA will silence religious speech in the workplace and we have the right to free speech.

But really, DOES ANYONE have free speech at work? Can we just go into the office and tell our bosses and co-workers ANYTHING we want? Can a muslim go around telling non-muslim women in the workplace they are whores unless they cover up? Company morale and mutual respect takes precidence over EVERYONE's personal and/or religious opinions.

I see Chase apartments in Morganza, MD on this website (first listing on page 5) that say they are only $375 for a 2 bedroom, and I would like to find out if there are any 2 bedrooms available and if they are really only $375/month, and also how much it is per month for utilities:
http://www.co.saint-marys.md.us/housing/docs/RentalList.pdf
^ The number is a local number, but for some reason whenever I call it still says "you must first dial a 1...", as if it were a long distance number, but I can't do that because I am on campus in college, and I can't make long distance calls from here. So if someone could, please call 301-475-8548 and ask if they have any 2 bedroom apartments available, if they are really only $375/month, how much it is per month for utilities, and if they require a credit check. And tell me what you found out when you answer this question. It would seriously mean so much to me if someone could please do this, and I will give the first person 10 points. Thank you.

Ok everyone..I need to pick out a great digital camera...I need a new one so my hubby is going to buy me one but I need to pick it out. Not TOO picky but I only want it to flash ONCE with red eye on (my old camera flashed like 4 times before it took a picture and by that time everybodys eyes were closed) also..I want it to be quite quick with taking pictures (again..my old camera would take a picture..display it for 3 seconds then the screen would go black and I would have to wait too long to be able to take another picture.) My current camera is a Cannon Snapshot. I obviously dont want this again.

Any suggestions? Money it not really a big object....(but I have no need of a $2000 camera...i only really use it for pictures of my son)

"SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 15 — A federal appeals court here rejected the Bush administration’s year-old fuel-economy standards for light trucks and sport utility vehicles on Thursday, saying that they were not tough enough because regulators had failed to thoroughly assess the economic impact of tailpipe emissions that contribute to climate change.

{...}

The court, siding with 4 environmental groups and 13 states and cities, also asked the government to explain why it still treated light trucks — which include pickups, sport utility vehicles and minivans — more mildly than passenger cars.

{...}

The appeals court, in a decision that was unanimous on all the major points, also chided the Bush administration for exempting larger S.U.V.’s — those like the Ford Excursion and the Hummer H2 that weigh 8,500 pounds to 10,000 pounds — from any fuel-economy standards."

I bleached my hair several months ago, and have since let my natural hair grow in without dying it. About 3/4 of the bottom is blonde, with a good 4 inches of dark brown roots. I've consistently used conditioners for damaged hair and deep conditioners so that the bleached part of my hair isn't in terrible condition. In fact, it feels just about the same as the unbleached portion of my hair, and I've been able to reduce the amount of damage on it. I'd like to go to a uniform color, preferably an auburn brown (slightly redder than my natural color). I've never been to a salon to get a color, I've always dyed my hair myself and I really don't want to drop upwards of $75 just to get my hair colored. Can someone suggest how I could go about pulling off this dye job without getting unwanted (see also: 2 drastically different shades, or color fading in a matter of weeks) results? I don't mind a subtle shade difference - I expect that,but I don't want as stark a difference as what I have now.
