Ok everyone..I need to pick out a great digital camera...I need a new one so my hubby is going to buy me one but I need to pick it out. Not TOO picky but I only want it to flash ONCE with red eye on (my old camera flashed like 4 times before it took a picture and by that time everybodys eyes were closed) also..I want it to be quite quick with taking pictures (again..my old camera would take a picture..display it for 3 seconds then the screen would go black and I would have to wait too long to be able to take another picture.) My current camera is a Cannon Snapshot. I obviously dont want this again.

Any suggestions? Money it not really a big object....(but I have no need of a $2000 camera...i only really use it for pictures of my son)

Cannon makes some of the best cameras out there. Depending on what your using the camera for 600's alot to spend, you should get a "point and shoot" camera if your new to digital photos. More mega-pixels means bigger photos. I would do some research before blowing 600 on a camera that may be to advanced for you. I only say that because you don't even know what cameras are considered good. Check the link below great reviews on Digital cameras, helped me make my decsion on wich camera was best for me.

best way to pick a camera fit for you is to go to a store that has the cameras out where you can play with the cameras! Good luck! Once you find one you like you should go online and see the ratings before making you final decision because obv. things might not be as good once brought home!
