A good friend of mine gets rather annoying when he drinks.

Keep in mind he is not getting wasted, driving, fighting, getting real biligerant etc. However, he just starts talking and talking and it gets really annoying after a while. He does not do this when not drinking and in fact is a great guy.

Tonight a bunch of us were trying to watch a movie and this guy would not stop talking. After a while when he talked other people would say "Good for you" and then ignore him. I think people were getting pretty annoyed. (I know I was).

They guy admits that he is alcoholic and says he "likes to drink a few beers." (or 8 or 9 lol!)

Granted it could be worse, he could be getting real wasted and causing all kinds of problems.

Even though that is not the case. What he is doing is getting very annoying.

What can I do?

Why do these people become pharmacists in the first damn place, ugh!

Okay. I've read the book many times but never have been able to answer this question....

In The chapter, Kings Cross...

When Harry has the talk with Dumbledore, there is the whimpering creature in the corner. J.K refers to it several times in the capter but the book never mentioned what it was.

Does anyone know what or who the thing was?
Or, If you don't know...take your best guess.

The only thing i could think of was maybe the part of Voldemort's soul that was latched onto Harry??

It was revealed this morning on Sunrise that the major parties have not yet launched their Campaigns and that until they do so, in the last 2 weeks of the lead up to the Election we, the long suffering taxpayers, have been footing the bill for all of their jaunts around the country drumming up support, paying for chartered jets etc. The only thing the parties have paid for are their TV/Radio ads. They won't start paying they're own way on flights etc. until their campaigns are 'officially' launched 2 weeks out from the Election.

I don't know about you but I'm really, REALLY miffed by this revealation.

What do you think? Should political parties start paying as soon as an Elelction is called or is it their God given right to use our money on their flits around the country selling themselves and making core or non-core promises just to lure our vote????

cuz,,it means either A: I found out he had been married before(not married when i found out) or B: i found our he is married( he is still married)

Cam'ron made a diss that compares Jay-Z's rhymes to rhymes that were made before his. What do you think? Did he steal these rhymes or is it just a coincidence that his rhymes sound similar. I don't know what to think. Even if he did steal these rhymes there is only 7 min. worth in this recording compared to the hours worth of albums he has put out. I wonder if the same case could be made about other rappers since there are a finite number of BPMs that a person could rap to. Tell me what you think.

I remember when Pizza Hut started. It was ALWAYS "buy one pizza get another free". Hence, the little guy saying "pizza pizza".
You ALWAYS could walk in, order a pizza and get two for the price of one. I know this may sound trivial to some, but geez, if your going to use a slogan with a promise...QUIT USING it if you no longer are going to do what the slogan is intended for. They used this for so many years, I keep thinking just maybe I can get that "pizza pizza". To me, that would be like using the slogan "have it your way"...and then being told "nope, you gotta accept what we make and eat it"...but still using the slogan. Make sense?
