I hope that means something to someone. What in God's name are you talking about? There are three axes; axis is singular, axes is more than one axis.

1) An AXIS is a plane that an object rotates about

2) Galleys do not have an AXIS as they do not rotate

3) There are no regulations in place that stipulate how many of anything has to be in them, only the type and strength of the materials, and electrical load. Galleys are infinitely adjustable to meet the needs of the user (airline).

Perhaps he means "axes", as in crash ax. The only one is in the cockpit, so if you think you are going to take an ax from the galley (or a bunch of them for your terrorist co-horts) and break into the cockpit, forget it.
