when you say " I found out he was married.", is this ambiguous?

cuz,,it means either A: I found out he had been married before(not married when i found out) or B: i found our he is married( he is still married)

It'd be better if you said, "I discovered he was married", but the way this is expressed is relatively clear and not ambiguous.

Yes, it is ambiguous when it's just an isolated sentence like that.

Out of context it is ambiguous. As in "He was dating my best friend but I found out he was married." indicates that he was mariied while he was dating. "I found out he was married when I met his wife" indicates that he is married now but you didn't know. "Hodgins found out Angela was married when their edding was stopped. " (Bones, series 2) indicates that Angela was already married. Hope this helps.
