1.)What is your favorite line in this poem and why?
2.)Give a summary of the poem each stanza.
3.)What is the theme?

Please help!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My spirit wails for water, water now!
My tongue is aching dry, my throat is hot
For water, fresh rain shaken from a bough,
Or dawn dews heavy in some leafy spot.
My hungry body’s burning for a swim
In sunlit water where the air is cool,
As in Trout Valley where upon a limb
The golden finch sings sweetly to the pool.
Oh water, water, when the night is done,
When day steals gray-white through the windowpane,
Clear silver water when I wake, alone,
All impotent of parts, of fevered brain;
Pure water from a forest fountain first,
To wash me, cleanse me, and to quench my thirst!
I could give you Million's of reason's but I don't have to give you any reason to see why everyone is not equal to each other. (It is not always a racial factor either)
I was really shocked to see some questions such as: "Which band is greater: MCR or Led Zeppelin" or "Isn't Gerard Way better than Jim Morrison". I mean WTF is wrong with these people?are they for real??don't they have any limits??. Is anyone else pissed off of these kinds of horrific questions?
Thoughts??
Okay, so there's a guy at school...let's call him Adam. He and I are on the debate team together, and we are always talking. He pokes my stomach a lot, and we laugh together. I like him, and I'm not sure if he knows it. We play fight sometimes, and he pays a lot of attention to me. Or maybe that's in my head....
Does he like me back?
Isn't it nice that someone as talented and skilled as he would run for President?
Plus he can play Hail To The Chief for himself I bet.
and I'm afraid!
We're in our mid 20s, have been married for 3 and a half years, have no children yet and he said he wants to help out more around the house.
I currently do not work so I can be available to help care for my grandfather, and I'm also taking 2 distance learning classes through the local community college working toward an eventual bachelor's degree. I have absolutely no problem doing all the housework myself (hello, I'm home all day while he's at work!). I actually enjoy cooking and housework, and I'm good at it!
It's not that I'm opposed to him helping. I was just raised very conservatively and old fashioned and my definition of the housewife's "duties" are to take care of the home, do laundry, cook, etc., and it would be switched if the husband stayed home.
So why does it worry me so much that he wants to learn how to cook? Could it be because this is "my" turf and I subconsciously feel he's intruding? He lets me help him fix things all the time.
Let's say you are just walking along the street, or in a grocery store, or bookstore, or at a bus stop, etc... and some random guy comes up to you and says "Hi, I think you are very attractive. Would you like to go out for coffee or lunch sometime?"
How would you react?
Group X has stated that they will work to remove the small things they dislike from the government so that it will be easier to remove the bigger things at a later date, and this is semi-public knowledge.
Then someone not affiliated with group X makes a statement about how they want the small things removed from the government and you argue that it will only lead to the larger things being removed as well, because of how tirelessly group X works towards their goal.
would this be fallacious? Is it a slippery slope if its true?
I have a frame in my back yard that holds a porch style swing. It was covered with this nasty barn/shed style plastic roofing. I tore it off because I want to put up a piece of plywood and shingles that match those on my house.
When I try to remove the old nails, the head comes right off (they are some kind of galvanized, grooved nails with a rubber washer under the head), now I can not get a grip with the nail bar or the hammer to pull them out. When I tried to pull them out with my biggest pliers, the nail broke at the surface. Those things are really in there.
I am afraid if i just break them off and drive them down, I will constantly be hitting them when I nail down the plywood. (There are lots of them, like every 6-8 inches.)
Any advice? Thanks!
